I was the first person Ally hired and I've known her for about 20 years. I've also been a friend, coworker (Honeywell) and employee of her husband, who's a great person, at Raytheon (twice). Based on my history with her, I can attest to Mr. Nintzel's reporting on this subject. It shouldn't matter if you're a liberal, moderate or conservative - a person with these behaviors should not be in public office. Decisions are made based on their perceptions rather than facts and they don't interact well with people who disagree with them to resolve issues. Most people would not want these characteristics in a public official or leader.
One point of contention: Pima County residents have not voted for and/or endorsed many millions of dollars in the current county debt. Non-voter authorized bonds called COPS, or Certificates of Participation, are approved by the Board of Supervisors without any input from the taxpayers.
One may support or oppose debt financing, be appalled or apathetic about a billion dollar plus debt, but the fact is that much of the bond debt has never been approved by Pima County residents.
Wrong, Again is the 6th least intelligent troll on the internet and DAMN proud of it!
I feel fortunate not to know where the top 5 are leaving their stains. Wrong, Again is bad enough.
"...transforming the local economy away from a dependence on homebuilding and toward a future based on jobs related to trade, technology and biosciences."
Liberals don't know how to do that, especially the leftists in Tucson (many of whom are devoted Marxists). They have succeeded in No Growth, No Jobs and No Future.
6th poorest city in the country, and DAMN proud of it!
Unfortunately he has an insurmountable lead.
Time to send Angry John McCain to the pumpkin patch.
McCain is supposedly 16 points ahead in the latest AZ polls and his betrayal has already begun. Can you believe it? Read the latest on The Hill: http://thehill.com/blogs/floor-action/sena…
Donald Trump asked Black voters, “What have you all got to lose?”
Someone else asked, “Why do Republicans allow these debates to be run by Liberals who never ask Hillary about her lies and emails?” Republicans??? Right. And McCain says he is a Republican.
My family are Republican since before the Civil War. My first vote was for Goldwater. I am a Rabid Republican, but my Republican Party is gone – US and Arizona – my “Party” hates Conservatives.
What must we do? We must win the War against our enemies…
And our only chance to win the War is Trump in the White House.
So November 8th I am voting for Trump… and for Kirkpatrick.
“WHAAT? What do you mean!!!”, you ask quietly. (We know how quiet you are.)
Kirkpatrick will be a weak first termer we can defeat in 6 years. Moreover she is by far the lesser evil. McCain ALWAYS betrays Conservatives; to believe McCain will oppose any Hillary SCOTUS appointment is as foolish as believing he will care about those dozens of our fellow Veterans dying every year in waiting lines at the Veterans Hospital a few blocks away from Senator McCain’s very comfortable house in Phoenix.
Trump is heading for a Brexit-style victory; I believe it, you must.
When Trump wins, McCain’s SCOTUS vote becomes irrelevant because Trump will only nominate Conservatives to the Court. When Trump wins McCain will probably pretend to support him.
But, if, God Forbid, Hillary wins, McCain will join his “Rock Star” buddy Hillary and will stab Conservative Arizonans in the back as he always does.
So Conservatives, just this one time read the Hill article and vote for the Damned Democrat.
What in God’s name have you got to lose?
Too bad the “Old West” we live in today doesn’t have that Hollywood standard for telling the good guys from the bad guys – white hats and black hats – because for the past few years finding a white hat-wearing guy or gal in Arizona politics is like finding Doug Douchy at a Mensa meeting.
The current members of the Commission ran on the slogan, "Do YOU want to pay HIGHER utility bills?" Evidently a vote for them meant a vote "YES!". Arizona has the best politicians money can buy.
Here's a link to today's 538.com update.
Make of it what you will, but it seems that all those new Republican voters aren't having much of an impact in Pennsylvania.
What did I tell you Debbi?
However, there is a difference between registering as a Republican and actually voting for the Republican candidate. It's not like they give you a ballot with only the Republican candidates. Same goes for those Republicans that have changed their affiliation to the Democratic party-just because they change doesn't mean they'll actually vote a Democratic slate.
These reports are more about making people feel better about themselves than any realistic/provable argument about candidate support.
Debbie L, I don't know if this is where you saw the PA story but I got it from CBS. You can post links for these guys all day long and they will find a way to deny the facts.
The Clinton Foundation’s largest single charitable grant to an organization not founded by the Clinton Foundation or managed by one of its board members was a $700,000 check to the J/P Haitian Relief Organization, a non-profit founded by actor Sean Penn. That organization reportedly spent more than $126,000 on first-class flights for the actor. Other charitable grants from the Clinton Foundation included $200,000 for the Tiger Woods Foundation and $37,500 for the Sesame Workshop in New York City.
The Clinton Foundation spent more on rent and office supplies than it did on program delivery. And when it gave grants, it gave them to other non-profits run by Clinton cronies...
But it's understandable. Most people believe if their favorite media didn't report on it, it didn't happen. It is money from a terrorist supporting country. Ever heard of the Patriot Act or Homeland Security?
RatT: Good for Qatar! Giving, as it did, to one of the top-rated, most ethical foundations in the world!
DebbieL? Do you have a link that shows that "PA had 100,000 Democrats switch to Republican Party?"
If that's true, it surely doesn't show in today's 538.com's projection of Hillary taking Pennsylvania by 89.5 to Trump's 10.5. And the national election by 87.3 to 12.7.
New emails released by WikiLeaks in connection with its dump of John Podesta’s email server indicate that Qatar, an Islamist state in the Persian gulf, gave former President Bill Clinton a check for $1 million for his birthday.

How cozy is that? Speak Up America!
Trump talked about it and they want to hang him. Bill Clinton did it and the media gives him a pass. Just saying. I just heard Mrs. Obama talking about she doesn't associate like men who talk like that. I guess she went to bed early when her husband had rappers entertain at the White House.
No, that is reality. Sure HRC is far from being the ideal candidate, but when she's up against the Chump, it's like comparing his rotten apple to her orange.
If you actually read all of what I typed instead of what displeased you, maybe, just maybe, you would understand for a change.
I wasn't posting to list HRC's solutions. I was pointing out that Chump's solutions, as everything else about him, are nonsense. Lift your head up off the desk, wipe the drool off your chin and pay attention in class. If you start now, you might possibly pass this course with a D minus.
No. That's your reality. But don't fool yourself. You failed to list Hillary's solutions.
So has she.
Here are some of them.
