Has Farley ever heard of Hillary Clinton, speaking of big liars?

Re: “The Skinny

John McCain is obviously up for re-election this year. He's definitely not going to rock the vote by coming out against "The Donald", especially since his wonderful choice for a vice-presidential running mate in 2008 has endorsed Trump. Like most of his cohorts, nothing is as important as staying in office!

Re: “The Skinny

McCain is a bitter, mean old man. Time for him to retreat to Paradise Valley.

Re: “The Skinny

You want to "Make America Great Again" I suggest you build the wall using the 495 Beltway as the foundation and prohibit anyone who works within from travelling outside. As far as I am concerned both political parties are responsible for the state of the union and we missed an excellent opportunity to fire them all when the government shut down a couple of years ago.

Re: “The Skinny

I guess you could say for the same reason we allow illegals to enter the country, give them financial benefits, and let them take jobs from Americans. We have lost our way.

Re: “The Skinny

The Republican leadership created this monster. This is what happens when you encourage people to blame all their problem on 'The Gubermint' and degrade education so that people are too stupid to understand. "I love poorly educated people." - Donald J. Trump

Re: “The Skinny

If elected, Trump might end up being the first president to resign because he really doesn't want to live in the White House, and because the job just won't be "fun" after the first few months. He would not only have to be very specific about making America "great again," but every minute of every day would require regimented accountability as well as true dedication to a nation of 320 million people. He won't be able to fly back to silk sheets in Trump Towers every night, like he does now.

Re: “The Skinny

Rep. Wheeler's statement seems to say that he could not win without help from the GOP. Actually, Victoria wins no matter who gets the GOP presidential nomination. She gets the populist vote if it's Bernie, the feminist vote if it's Hillary and she has huge popularity in Tucson. Lest we forget, Victoria won more votes in the last election than any other Legislator in Pima County (including Rep. Wheeler).

Re: “The Skinny

Jim Nintzel forgets the Green Party once again ~ but Green Party presidential contenders Dr. Jill Stein & Kent Mesplay, care enough about Tucson to visit & share their platforms personally. Meet Mr. Mesplay on Thursday, 3/10/16, 2-4pm, in the 1st floor meeting room of Joel Valdez Library; meet Dr. Jill Stein on Thursday, 3/10/16, 6-8 pm, in the Historic Y Courtyard. For those of you who are sick of big money influencing elections, did you know that Green Party candidates do not accept corporate contributions?

Re: “The Skinny

It appears there is plenty of available history on this topic:

...while in the majority and salivating over the prospect of a Democratic president being elected, Schumer delivered a speech to the American Constitution Society that is now Republicans’ go-to line when deflecting criticism over obstruction.

Dubbed the “Schumer Standard” by Republicans, the New York Democrat at that time called on his colleagues to “reverse the presumption of confirmation” for judicial nominees offered by then President George W. Bush.

"As first reported by The Washington Post – S.RES. 334, also known as Expressing the Sense of the Senate That The President Should Not Make Recess Appointments to the Supreme Court, Except to Prevent or End a Breakdown in the Administration of the Court’s Business – passed the Senate in a 48-33 vote in an attempt to prevent former President Dwight Eisenhower from filling a seat last-minute.

Re: “The Skinny

Dear Sen. McCain, here's what your colleague Sen. Angus King, I-Maine, has to say. Sen. King is an accomplished attorney:
Much of the Constitution is open to interpretation, but the procedure for filling a Supreme Court vacancy is not; the president "shall nominate," and the Senate will offer "advice and consent."

Re: “The Skinny

The DCCC can go pound sand. CD2 Dems don't need the crappy support they gave Ron Barber. A grassroots campaign can take down Sally McSilly and her Koch-fueled drones. If the National Dems can't understand Bernie, they have no chance with Tucson and southern AZ!

Re: “The Skinny

The National Democrat Party forgot the 50 state strategy of Chairman and Governor Howard Dean's winning ways. Representative Victoria Steele's campaign received a huge boost to her campaign. The national party should take notice, Arizona's hard-working most respected Progressive voice in the Congress, Congressman Raul Grijalva has just changed the contest. Democrats nationally will now take new notice to Arizona CD 2 and a victory over Tea Bagger McSally. Come August the whole complexion will have changed as a new strength has been added to Representative Victoria Steele's campaign. Local Democrats will be moving to a renewed CD 2 campaign.
