Re: “Danehy

What would these out of work right wingers do if they cannot win another entitlement government job and feed off the government cheese? This fellow is a joke!

Re: “TUSD Board Member Mark Stegeman Changes His Registration To Independent

Marty, here's what the bylaws say. You can be a registered Democrat and support whomever you please, but if you are in an elected position, like a precinct committee person, one of your obligations is to support only Democrats. When Mark resigned his position as committeeman, that's all he had to do. It was his choice to go farther.

Re: “TUSD Board Member Mark Stegeman Changes His Registration To Independent

How democratic is it that the Democratic Party penalizes Democrats who support non-Democrats in non-partisan races?

Re: “TUSD Board Member Mark Stegeman Changes His Registration To Independent

Maybe Mr. Stegeman should be a good board member and visit the more than 20 schools that have new principals, and find out what's going on in the district, rather than trying to pack the school board for his agenda.

Why do you two deep thinkers think you have more value than that squirrel?

Re: “Grijalva: Obama's Decision to Delay Exec Action on Immigration Leaves "Those Who Looked to Him for Hope Feeling Alone, Ignored and Used"

After Obama's presidency the democrats fear they will lose the black vote. That is why they are chasing the central american voters.

...and they should lose it. Black unemployment rose under Obama. What do they need him for?

My bet this is a shell name for TUSD. The results look identical.

Re: “Those French Guys Are Seemingly Going to Get Away With Their Squirrel-Kicking Crimes

Better yet do you have any proof they actually were French? PETA kills pets, Greenpeace clubs baby seals, and the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is not affordable.

This could have been a publicity stunt by the "Save the Squirrel Foundation."

You people? at the weakly why dont you go and spend your time and money loving the little rats that carry the bubonic plague? By the way do you have any proof that the rat died? Of course lack of proof never stopped you from reporting. With your slant dont get to close to the edge.

Re: “Here's Your Chance to Be the UA Basketball Announcer

Last year was also an exciting season for fans of Arizona's men's basketball.

Only to be surpassed by my alma mater, UConn, that won its 4th national championship. (As contrasted with U of A's piddling one.)

Re: “Rio Nuevo Board to Pay $100,000 for a Beach Boys Concert

The fact is that a "Beach Boys" show gets us "non hipster" folks excited. (even this lineup) They have a cross generational/cross cultural appeal that a regional Mexican act or current hard rock act simply does not have. I will be bringing four generations of excited people to this show-1) my 76 year old mother (into Beach Boys since early 60's) , 2) my 13 year old son (part Latino and obsessed with 60's to 80's pop and rock), 3) my 47 year old uncool classic rock self, and 4) my millennial 31 year old fiancé who also very much into classic rock/pop from 60's. So I want to thank the Rio Nuevo board and Fletcher McCusker and I will be buying tickets as soon as they go on sale.

Re: “Grijalva: Obama's Decision to Delay Exec Action on Immigration Leaves "Those Who Looked to Him for Hope Feeling Alone, Ignored and Used"

Hey thanks , franklymydear, for the comment. I read the map wrong and it was a awhile ago when I looked at it. His Tucson office is right at the 5th Ave (?) building I use to get my CSA fresh veggies at. But he was never there so I could talk to him.

But I wish he would see that there are many legal Hispanics and other immigrant, like me, who I never see him talk about. Vietnamese, Chinese and Korean who he never talks about. It is all Hispanic illegals all the time.
What about the Native Americans ? What about the African American ? there are so many splintered legal families here in Tucson who could use the money he handing out to illegals. I wonder how they feel when their children are hungry and living in a car ?
No matter what you feel about the war what about the Veterans. Any illegal can walk into any hospital in America and get taken care of but our Veterans are getting no care !
He is one note, we need to heal our fractured legal families first and then help the world.

EJ Montinny is to the left of the weakly. Enough said. Leftys are the most untruth spin doctors in the world next to the radical muslims.

Re: “A Very Frightening Story From BASIS San Antonio

Suck it up cupcake. Life is hard.

I have a plaque over my office window that reads" If you want something you have never had, then you have got to do something you have never done" It is right next to the College Diploma my Grandfather earned in 1933.

He delivered newspapers in the morning, went to school during the day, and swept streets night. All while living in the basement of an abandoned house with no running water or electricity.

I started a business in October of 2010 and now have over 250 employees. Most of them are very dedicated to what they do and are treated with the upmost respect by their fellow co-workers and I.

Then there are the ones that think that they should be carried by the rest. I have no patience for them. They are constant victims- which is what the whiner in the article is and wants their child to be too.---get over it.

Mr/Mrs parent, if you were so unhappy with BASIS, why did you continue to enable BASIS to "abuse" your child by continuing to have him enrolled for an entire year? BASIS certainly did not force them to attend and you had other options (public school)........

If I truly thought my child was being neglected, I'd have them out of the situation in minutes not months.

My daughter is the "step-daughter" in the above referenced post. She is a totally different kid than she was when she went to public school. She works hard every day and is no longer a victim of SA public schools.

Re: “Grijalva: Obama's Decision to Delay Exec Action on Immigration Leaves "Those Who Looked to Him for Hope Feeling Alone, Ignored and Used"

Hey, Grijalva...shove your air-wasting, whiny garbage up the darkest part of your rear-end, then, scuttle your pathetic butt into Mexico and teach the people there to do something constructive with their own nation instead of feeding off the teat of other nations like the ticks they're emulating...and stay there yourself for good!

It was more fun when they asked bands to cover acts that were a departure from their sound.
