Re: “The New York Times is Telling the Story of How Tucson Became an 'Unlikely Food Star'

Also, support the small producers, projects, farmers and advocates that are working tirelessly to ensure that all Tucsonans have access to good nutrition. Culturally conscious farmers like the San Xavier Cooperative Farm are making crops and tradition accessible for all of us. Mission Garden is a literal walking tour of food production in the Tucson Basin for the last 4000 years. Community Organizers and organizations like Flowers and Bullets, Tierra y Libertad and the Community Food Bank are ensuring that everybody in our community has equal access to good and whole local foods. So many are a part of making the Designation meaningful.
Let's ensure that in addition to supporting local restaurateurs we also are enacting policy that protects our Foodways for the generations to come.

Re: “Arizona Transgender Man, ACLU Sue Country's Fifth Largest Health Care System for Discrimination

it is the profiteering capitalist puppet Obombney Obusha who created this insurance scam when MEDICAID FOR ALL who need it would save trillions of dollars for taxpayers and relieve many employers of the high cost of "insurance" which is a century old scam to deny sick people "pre-existing" or "experimental" life saving care .... Canada has been a single payor system with drugs just pennies for what costs hundreds of dollars in USA

Re: “Arizona Transgender Man, ACLU Sue Country's Fifth Largest Health Care System for Discrimination

gender dysphoria is no more an "elective" than hyperthyroidism which bigots commonly attribute to obese people who choose to eat too much .... this patient who works at a hospital will win this lawsuit and other so called insurance companies hiding their bigotry behind profit motives will "choose" to fund scientific treatments instead of conforming to religious profiteering

Re: “What John Oliver Said About Charter Schools

Why not fix the public schools first so the parents have something to fall back on? You have no intention of fixing public schools do you?

The best way to go out and drink under $15? Go to the grocery store. Stay home.

Re: “Adios, Compadre

Thank You to the Weekly and Dan Buckley for memorializing Mike Ronstadt. He was a Tucson treasure for many reasons. He was a true gentleman that always had time to listen to peoples stories. He cared deeply for everything around him. He had a way of stealing your heart with a song and then carrying the conversation into how to fix a river. I have known Michael since Junior High and kept our friendship all these years. I will miss him deeply.

Re: “Cannabis and cancer

I am a cancer survivor. In 1985, I
was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer. My
treatment It included 18 months of chemotherapy,
six weeks of
radiation and three surgeries – one to remove the tumor, another to
remove the rib where it resided, and then finally a very invasive lung
biopsy. I was constantly sick, sometimes so much so that I needed to be
in isolation. My immune system was so weakened by the treatment that I
was at high risk of developing other diseases. I lost all of my hair and
a significant amount of weight. After two years of treatment, I was
told to come back in three months for my first check-up.
I read
something about cannabis oil the cure for cancer on the internet and i
decided to give it a trial, i order the medication via email from
ricksimpsoncancerfoundation@gmail.com,
and the medication was delivered to me, i started treatment as
instructed and i can tell you that am still here tell everyone about my
story.
