Re: “Tucson Marches for Equality

Yeah, Obama and his eight years of damage. You poor thing. All of those jobs, a robust economy, health care, not a whiff of scandal. What a living hell it must have been for you. Thank god we have an amoral narcissist at the helm now. What could possibly go wrong?

Re: “Tucson Marches for Equality

There's plenty of stuff out there which isn't fake news that proves Trump is a misogynist. Hell, he said plenty of things on television alone. I know, just because he said it and it showed up on liberal media TV, it's definitely not real.

Yes, the charges in that particular rape case were dropped, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. Rape cases get dropped all the time, due to fear of retaliation or the victim just not wanting to relive all that horror again. The other case I remember was dropped also, and that one was dropped sometime within the last 6 months. But, once again, if you were the victim, you may also change your mind in pursuing a case in which a very powerful and wealthy man has made death threats against you and your family.

Also remember, Obama inherited most of the mess that stayed consistent throughout his presidency. Bush Jr. gave him an awful lot to fix and a lot of politicos who refused to give an an inch anywhere towards improving anything. People, especially the Obama haters, always conveniently forget about all that.

In conclusion, I don't want Trump to fail. In fact, I think it would be great if he proved all the naysayers wrong. Another thing I want is for people to have freedom to express their anger over a presidency which was campaigned on a platform of hate. If you open your mind to what actual facts are, not that nonsense presented on tea party or fake news websites, you will understand that these people have a legitimate cause and they are not the "useful idiots" that you demean them to be.

Please, open your mind, check out some legitimate news on Trump and his misogyny and get a clue.

Re: “Tucson Marches for Equality

Wow. You should read something besides the Weekly and fake news. The underage girls thing - proved fabricated. The one girl, the one that claimed that she never saw Trump again until the Apprentice aired in 1992, yet she lived in NYC for over a decade after the alleged incident, dropped the charges. Anyone who was in NYC at the time can tell you that it would have been impossible for her not to see a photo of Trump in over 10 years. He was on the front page of countless newspapers on countless newsstands and has never shied from the spotlight. Turns out her history of substance abuse may have clouded her judgement. And then there were the women who were actively courted - some offered money by Gloria Allred to the tune of $500,000, including at least one former Apprentice cast member, to make accusations against Trump. It was a smear campaign by the desperate Clinton camp and one of their countless efforts to discredit him so that people like you would be fooled. Yep, he said the thing about grabbing women by the pussy. Not his finest moment. However, if he can fix this country after all the damage that Obama did in the last 8 years, I'll overlook a salty comment. Because, that's what it is. And I stand by my useful idiot for Soros statement 100%. As for your judgement of me? I'm tempted to quote what the eloquent Madonna screeched at the "haters", but suffice it to say that your opinion of me is of no consequence.

Re: “Tucson Marches for Equality

You're a woman? A self hating one obviously.

You must also be one of those women who figured that the underage girls who accused Trump of rape and bodily harm to them and their family if they exposed that rape "were only doing it to get attention".

There were so many other things which came out that exposed Trump's misogyny during his campaign, but I guess you chose to ignore all all that. Quit succumbing to your ignorance, get online and investigate this stuff. If you actually do that, you might actually feel really stupid about the "The useful idiots were out in force for this Soros-backed cause." statement you posted.

As it stands, you are not proving to anyone in any way that you are a credit to your gender.

Re: “Tucson Marches for Equality

No Women Haters club here. Just can't quite work up any sympathy for a herd of people who can't articulately define their cause. It always comes down to "the Cheeto looking guy said he grabbed women by the pussy" in a conversation that was secretly taped. I've said worse, and I'm a woman! And don't give me this "rape culture" BS. Rape culture is what the Yazidis are living through on a good day. Rape culture is the culture of ISIS. Not saying that rape doesn't occur, but we don't live in a rape culture. The many, many, many selfies and photos I saw of smiling women at these marches hardly reflected oppression and disadvantage. If you want to go march with a bunch of women, that's fine. Call it a parade. But, don't don your p#ssyhat with anti-Trump signs and cheer on vile pigs like Madonna who and pretend like you've done something noble and life-changing when there are places in the world where you'd end up beaten like a piata and separated from your head for even dreaming of an event like this. No hate. Just a reality check.

Wow. Three stupid comments in a row, not to mention several others in this comment section. What gives? Is the Woman Haters Club in a meeting and have they been instructed to troll on this site and give the people who support women's rights hell? Talk about losers in action.

Re: “Tucson Marches for Equality

The useful idiots were out in force for this Soros-backed cause. Over 50 organizations tied to Soros organized this spectacle. It was not a grass-roots protest. This was a selfie-vanity project attended by disgruntled people who can't get over the fact that Hillary lost and that Trump won. It was a hate-fest against Trump/Pence. Look up what the Yazidis are going through...you know, genocide, how their women are enslaved and traded like baseball cards among ISIS. How they're sexually mutilated. How they're chattel. You have the audacity to complain that you don't have free birth control and that abortion providers are losing federal funding because they terminate lives and part out fetuses for profit? Liberal American problems...

Wow - references to Midol and sex toys for women have been removed as well as reference that this is all about birth control and abortions paid for by someone else.

What's on the liberal agenda for 'women's rights', burqa's?

Re: “Tucson Marches for Equality

Please show me where I "cast judgement?" I asked a question, and you think it's judgement? And then by stating a well reported fact on sanctuary cities causing a loss of tax dollars, I am "making a show of being morally superior?"

You ma'am/sir needs to expand your comprehension abilities. I did neither.

But I know the basis of those arguments. Abortion is not taking a life.

Then raise it. No judgement and no superiority.

At least give it up for adoption to someone that WILL accept responsibility for actions.

Re: “Tucson Marches for Equality

Susan, regardless of how you view yourself, this is the definition of sanctimonious:
sanctimonious
adjective

Making a show of being morally superior to other people.

I notice you only mention love and respect when casting judgement on another person. Are they missing from your life?

Re: “Tucson Marches for Equality

Nancy, regardless of what you thought it looked like, this is the definition of democracy:

democracy
dmkrs/
noun
a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.

What you are promoting has nothing to do what is best for one half of the nation. By downtrodden did you also mean female? The Mayor is about to cause Tucson to lose federal and possibly state funding because of his lawlessness.

Do whatever you want to do to your body, just don't do it to somebody that's stuck in your body. They deserve better.

I noticed that you never mention love or respect. Are they a part of your life, or is that what's missing?

Re: “Tucson Marches for Equality

This is what democracy looks like! What an experience to be part of this march, to hear our Mayor Rothschild give a supportive speech, to see and hear enthusiasm for joining together to support what so many of us believe in: autonomy over our own bodies, women's rights, support for the downtrodden. Congratulations, Tucson Weekly for the great video. I have sent it onward via Youtube.
