Re: “Video of Tucson Streetcar Ride Down 4th Ave Underpass

What I want to know is?.......who gets to hose down the vomit from the drunk U of A students at the end of the night?
So who is this Gene Caywood guy who loves playing with toy trains that we have to pay $197,000,000 worth of my money? He is listed in the Star as the "Visionary" who dreamed up this mess. And we need fewer "visionary" people in this city and more accountants.

Looks like it ran a 4-way stop sign at 53 seconds into the video.

And I bet the TV talking heads will e breathless about their virgin rides today.

Re: “Ted Nugent Endorses Dark Horse GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Frank Riggs

Several years ago a Northern California office holder, Frank Riggs, had a protest going on in his office that he did not like. Since the protesters would not leave, Mr. Riggs had security come through and daub the eyes of the protesters with rags soaked in irritant in an attempt to make them leave. There's a bit more info about Frank Riggs at: http://stonewalldemsaz.org/friggs.htm

Cool! It's just like a bus, except it can't change lanes!

Re: “When Drinking Liberally Goes Wrong: Tucson Group 86'd by The Shanty

"if the Shanty is to survive?" I live in Phoenix and every time I'm in Tucson I try to visit the Shanty (stale popcorn and all, which I ate when I was there in June). I've been going there since the 1970's because The Shanty is always The Shanty and that's why I love it. The Red Garter, a place I have never been, sounds like a jaded dinner theatre with bad musical comedy.

Typical liberal entitlement mentality on full display. Love it!

Re: “Fook and Mishell to Leave KFMA

Mornings were super sweet when The Frank Show moved to KLPX and KFMA had to ACTUALLY play music, why can't they do that instead of having a morning show.

Re: “Tucson Scientifically Proven More "Exciting" Than Scottsdale, Less Than Tempe & Flagstaff

Clean and rich = exciting? Scottsdale is plastic and too full of boring people checking out each other's watches to see who's getting richest.
That nauseating smell on the NW side is your excrement getting turned into recycled water to water the parks and golf courses. Has to happen somewhere. In Scottsdale they probably pay to send it to a poorer city so they don't have to smell it.
Tucson isn't the most organized or rich city, but it's more interesting than anywhere in the Valley.

Re: “This Weekend in Sonoran Strip Club News

So TD's has now spanned the border, apparently. Locations in Tucson, Phoenix, Albuquerque, and now Nogales.
