You are given a behemoth amount of resources and advantages if you were ever in the military. GI bill for housing, Job markets and advantages in applying for federal jobs, education while in and out. You had every opportunity to use them save money ,get training in a career ect..Now if you choose to ignore them what excuse do you have?

With the action taken to harm our economy short sighted is all we have left. Politicians do nothing but raise and spend money. We foot the bills.

Here comes another taxpayer bailout.

Yeah, crazy things, like progressives "would rather kill kids than educate them".

At least you're consistent with your ignorance. Please keep up with your uninformative and untruthful posts, at least they're good for a laugh! Believe me, that's all they're good for.

Re: “Local Media Pros Som and Krystin Lisaius Indicted on Drug-Related Child Abuse Charges

Too bad the Pima county attorney running for re-election didn't think it was necessary to arrest or book them into jail like the common folks that commit crimes. Nor did she see any reason to ask for bail on the accused crime, they simply walked out of court "on their own recognizance". Really? When was the last time a case of child abuse was treated this way? I guess if you have connections to law enforcement, you get a free pass? Or if you can afford that high profile attorney, it means you have lots of money and power, so better not go after then like the poor people? Maybe the Weekly could find out who else was at this cocaine party? I'd love to know.

Re: “"Raise Taxes on Corporations and the Wealthy." Hillary said It. Arizona Democrats, You Can Say It Too.

"I have solved this political dilemma in a very direct way: I don't vote. On Election Day, I stay home. I firmly believe that if you vote, you have no right to complain. Now, some people like to twist that around. They say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain,' but where's the logic in that? If you vote, and you elect dishonest, incompetent politicians, and they get into office and screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You voted them in. You caused the problem. You have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote -- who did not even leave the house on Election Day -- am in no way responsible for that these politicians have done and have every right to complain about the mess that you created."

Re: “Local Media Pros Som and Krystin Lisaius Indicted on Drug-Related Child Abuse Charges

Too bad the pima county attorney treats people so differently, depending on their social status. When was the last time someone accused of child abuse was allowed out on their own recognizance? I guess if you can afford that attorney, the DA doesn't bother even taking them to jail or booking then like the poor common people.

Rick Spanier:

I couldn't have put it into better words.

If Chump wins, it will confirm to that we live in a country full of short sighted idiot voters. If Billary wins, it will not be too much different than if Chump wins.

It's a real lose/lose situation. Worst election year EVER. DC

Trump is looking better every day. Bill Clinton should never have met with the AG on the tarmac at Sky Harbor. Unbelievable! The Clintons are always right next to crimes.

Where does Campbell intersect with 6th AVENUE? I thought they both ran north-south? Did he screech to a stop at the North Pole?

Or perhaps it was 6th STREET--a difference any Tucsonan should know.

Re: “"Raise Taxes on Corporations and the Wealthy." Hillary said It. Arizona Democrats, You Can Say It Too.

Hilary feints left (thank you, Bernie) while the Democratic National Committee Platform continues to deny support for canning the TPP, the $15.00/hr minimum wage and a ban on fracking.

http://www.democracynow.org/2016/6/27/head…

She takes millions from Wall Streeters in speeches and then plans on tearing them down? Does that include her son in law the Hedge Fund Manager? She and her husband have made hundreds of millions in speeches to Wall Street, big Pharma and Big Energy, more than 100 Americans earn in their lifetimes.

Trump is a complete disaster and Hilary is not far behind. Congratulations to the Democratic Party, they are nominating the only candidate with a real possibility of losing to the most ridiculous candidate in US history.

Re: “In Defense of Marijuana: #FreeKyleCatlin

This is the quagmire of being protected by the courts. The arbitrarily applied prosecution of laws. Just to think if Kyle compassionate and ignorant that he is erred on the side of moral turpitude as he saw it. Kyle didn't set up investigations didn't enlist others to come and build a distribution network. However that is what essentially happened.

We can look at AZDHS on the way the formation of a community farms. We can ask what was the follow up for inspections of farms. Kyle found himself in direct competition to the marketeers and the tax collecting entities. The associated marijuana marketing groups that most patients frequent and lost revenue wont be silenced.

We just seen the SCOTUS review Montana state's right to enforce regulations on Marijuana. There are no rights of commerce rights, no consumer rights, no price fixing or monopoly protections extended. So stop the wholesale marketing of marijuana that was happening in Montana. Under their haphazard distribution system that resembles AZ's costs skyrocketed in enforcement and use by children. It appears that the Medical distribution wrought with heavy upfront cost established illegal underground market. A market feed from Canada and illegal growing transfers from neighboring states.

Montana repealed the Medical marijuana laws simply because it relied on people in the industry of enforcement prosecution levied a upfront tariff. Collaborative efforts from market suppliers and distributors to limit competition. Along building unsustainable government long term responsibilities.

Montana now allows for a grower to grow for 3 patients. It allows for the grower to be compensated for their efforts. They have coordinated efforts between doctors and growers and patients.

I wonder was Kyle Catlin just ahead of the curve?
