Re: “Police Dispatch

Was the guy in the trailer park "throwing rocks" or "getting his rocks off" or both?

Re: “Police Dispatch

Wow. Three whole years. That's enough to make a trained chimp an expert. Hmm - I wonder. Nah, it couldn't be.

It's true that Tucson is amazingly poorly governed for a city of our size and resources, and it's beyond me why that should be the case. Are we all crooks? Is nobody actually interested in doing anything positive? Rio-nothingtoshowforit-Nuevo is just the most recent and highest expression of our futility.

Next I'm looking forward to the destruction of a perfectly functional couple miles of Broadway. Oh, you mean NOW they actually want to do something. Anything, apparently.

But "third world country"? I don't think so. Somebody needs to get out more.

Re: “Police Dispatch

Living in this city for three years, it's definitely the worst place I have lived. Graffiti is everywhere, the City Council is inept and our reps to Congress are out of touch. Tucson is just a third world country in America. Can't wait to leave and don't worry, I won't let the door hit me on the keester on the way out.

Re: “Police Dispatch

actually it's the only thing I read in this paper. I love the writer's take on these offenders/offenses.

This is the first thing I read in the Weekly. I just love it. Wish it was a whole page.

Re: “Police Dispatch

I get it now. The supervisor is a SENIOR at TUSD.

Re: “Police Dispatch

Couldn't count back change and a SENIOR supervisor had to grab a calculator over a rounding calculation? Walmart once again plays into well earned stereotypes. The redneck going off on the employee is just punctuation to the matter.

Re: “Police Dispatch

Aside from being an asshole, the woman was correct about the cashier's lack of math skills, and apparently, the senior staff member's too. Our governments have gutted education, and these incidents showcase the result.

"motherfu**er," saying she'd been referring to her electricity bill.

Maybe the electric utility wanted to charge her a tax on her solar panels? It's enough to drive one to drink!

Re: “Police Dispatch

So she did not know her car was broken into until the surveillance video showed it? This says nothing about her calling the break in, into authorities when she first got into her vehicle to go to work? Was it not apparent that her vehicle was broken into when she got into it?

Re: “Police Dispatch

These three guys were disrespectful towards Police and I do not go for that. Concerning the issue that soldiers that went to Iraq fought to preserve freedom here in the US, there is not really much logic to that statement. I think we can calmly discuss what those soldiers did in Iraq. Protecting US citizens or protecting Constitutional Freedoms is not what those soldiers did. There is a group that is named "Iraq Veterans against the War". I suggest you find some of the reports these veterans have made after returning from Iraq. Perhaps when you hear the actual veterans from that war speak your idea about what happened will change.
