...I'm not sure why Tucson native and current Devo drummer Jeff Friedl rarely if ever gets mentioned in the local music media. He moved to California years ago and eventually worked/works with A Perfect Circle, Ashes Divide, The Beta Machine, Devo, Carina Round, Filter and Puscifer.
This is comical:"Musically, the Mission Creeps are one of the most perfectly named bands around, with thumping and thudding drums, thick and edgy bass lines and guitar leads that scream, wail and shudder. Guitarist-singer James Arrr and bassist Miss Frankie Stein prove again that they simply own their groovy, dark realm."
... In other words they are not your most favorite band. No positivity here. Very tactful way to say they suck ass. Do you owe them money? Come on just come out & say it. Grow some balls. What a wuss for a music critic.
Primus is one of the most original and talented hard rock bands that exist. Within their sound one can find a great mixture of funk, absurdity and a quirky sense of humour that musically & lyrically remind me a lot of the late & great musical genius Frank Zappa. It's a shame that Mr. Seigel doesn't much care for them; but I guess when a person can settle for the dreck an "artist" like Daniel Johnston performs, the music from Primus must come across as very complicated.
The 'CSI show with Chris O'Donnell' is actually 'NCIS Los Angeles' and has nothing to do with CSI other than sharing some letters.
