I totally will miss Bobbie Jo Buel, but I believe you attributed someone else's quote to me.
Also, I'm not the Star's assistant sports editor; I'm not even in Sports.

Buel, who declined to be interviewed by the Weekly" That alone shows you how smart she is.
Apparently he'll succeed Guy Atchley eventually. Interesting.
You're getting a good man in Pat Parris Tucson. He was outstanding in St. Louis Blues and Cardinal fox Midwest broadcasts. We will miss him.
The only good one listed is Mike Rapp. The others all suck, especially James Harris.

6 to 8 p.m. weekdays mornings?
Happening today in LA is the Worldwide Radio Summit (WWRS). What's the point?
Used to attend my fair share of "radio boot camps" back in the day.
What are they going to discuss? How to make voice-tracking better?
Cuz that's about all that's left of gutted radio stations.
Good news that Justice is back where he belongs. He is railing on trump like a champ. But best part is putting two Tucsonans in that slot together. Rapp goes back years on KLPX. He and Justice have ten times the brain power and entertainment value as Garret Morris or whatever his name is on the AM station.
Hmm. You say Zach Clark was out on maternity leave during the NCAA Tournament. Sure you didn't you mean paternity leave?
I used to listen to Jim's AM radio show until he started tossing in political commentary and soon it became clear he leaned to the right. Too bad. And with that I tuned into other programming. Jim, if you're going to espouse Rush like views and wish to keep your audience, you should have presented the other side of the argument as well.
The advantage of AM is that in the car, doing yard work or walking around the house with a radio, it is the easy way to listen and there isn't much competition. If I am going to stream something, then I have all the choices in the world, so why bother listening to little local Joe Blow Schlock?
Carissa is on weekday mornings
Sonu Wasu left because the news organization at 13 is half assed and the pay is terrible. New "reporters" get a barely livable wage. It's exploitation. No wonder so many do 2 years and bail.
OK, expect to get hammered for this, but am I the only one who is sick to death of the eternal interruption of normal programming during the NCAA "March Madness" madness? Frankly, there needs to be an alternative channel for CBS broadcasting while this nonsense is going on. Yes, I am a U of A alum. No, I don't care about the NCAA basketball insanity!
Dear Jim Parisi:
No one cares....
Speaking of KOLD, what happened to Christine Pae and Carissa Planalp, neither of whom have been on air for some weeks?
Johnny has never commented on the new (overdone) KOLD graphics and the seeming abandonment of "Tucson News Now" by Channel 13.
Here's a teaser Will Shortz could offer for the Sunday Puzzle:
How many new words can you make from the letters in "Sonu Wasu" and "Teya Vitu" ?
