That ain't the Northwest side CJ. I live in the area and we still sort of think of ourselves as midtown or along River Road the "foothills." LOL
Ahh my Northwest side ignorance rears its ugly head once again.. Thanks for pointing that out Sonoran.
A Tweet from Artigiani says they're close to Sullivan's ... which is on River Road, not Sunrise.
"We're excited to be neighbors w/ @SullivansTucson."
"...kept mostly hush-hush so far. (That might be fun for some, but it's pretty annoying to a food-beat writer."
Believe me, it's pretty much annoying to ALL of us.
"...Keep an eye on these guys"
No, I don't think I'll bother.
"Goodness" appears to be moving into the space once occupied by Umi Star at Campbell and Water. Sign says juice bar and.. natural food maybe. Saw it whilst driving by.
Also a new one on Broadway and Kolb. Used to be Hummingbird Cafe now the Sign says Baja Cafe and the A-frame on Broadway says they are open for business.
Yeah I have definitely noticed that. There are more than a few locations like that around town.
It's not been able to hold a tenant since the Munoz family that ran Yankee Doodle Pizza closed it many years ago.
Thanks for the tip Sonoran!
hmm and I just drove by there a few days ago. that is one of those buildings that just keeps rotating them in and out.
New restaurant alert -- @ NE corner of Grant and Campbell where Sabor Tropical was. Called Viva's. At least that's what's on the sign.
You can get your King cakes at Nadines Bakery!!!
Fair enough, but would it have killed you to mention that in the Weakly, perhaps in the contents section on page 1? For all I knew, perhaps it had been killed off, not that anything like that had happened before (cough, cough, Movie Times).
Pissed off: You must have a low bar for what upsets you. The double whammy of Beer Week and the anniversary issue bumped Chow and Noshing. Both will return on the 26th.
Yeah, what's up with no Chow/Noshing around for 2 weeks in a row?
Sonoran: I shall make an ever so triumphed return
Now 2-week old column.
Dude: No, not kidding.
Sonoran: You're kidding?!?!!
Due to the beer issue, Chow and Noshing took the week off.
Week old column.
