I downed a couple grams of mushrooms and smoked a lot of weed before going to see one of these shows at the Flandrau Planetarium back in the mid '80s. What a show! I'm pretty sure that I've never been quite the same.
Ah, it's one of those illegal immigration events dressed up as an environmental event.
The Cyclovia folks (LSA) also sponsor Bike Fest with more fun rides all month! Check out the website for details:
8am on what day?
Thank you Tucson Weekly for this post! However this event took place on the 24th!
here, i'll do it for you.
wouldn't it be prudent to include the link to the fb page? i mean i know i can just search it, but that's just good reporting to have the link there too.
Dolores Herta is a hateful racist bigot.
Under the dictatorship of the Grijalva's, she was given the stage to indoctrinate our children claiming Republicans hate latinos.
Special places for racist bigots.
Cesar Chavez was an AMERICAN.
Cesar Chavez was MILITANTLY AGAINST illegal immigration.
I respect this man.
Unlike MOST of the readers of this story, I once met Cesar Chavez, shook his hand, in the spring of 1966 when I participated in the March to Support the Delano Grape Strike.
The author of this story is disingenuous; he and the rest of the "pro raza" propagandists have always used Chavez' picture to imply his support for "pro raza" open border policy, when he did not.
Truth is: Chavez, an American citizen, was a friend of Bobby Kennedy.
Chavez DID NOT support the use of Illegal Mexican Labor to break farm worker labor strikes and to drive DOWN the value of American labor.
In fact, Chavez VIOLENTLY opposed it!
Look forward to it!
Great article! Will be signing up soon.
The word is "rouler" - not "roulet"
Support white artists too.
The show is this Saturday, February 13, 8pm.
It would be helpful if you included the date of this event.
Thanks for the article. Unfortunately, the event sponsor was incorrectly identified. The Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association sponsors this and other events at Catalina State Park and throughout the Tucson area.
AWESOME! Get involved people!
