"Ex-Arizonan is a Troll hypocrite" is a maroon. (Thanks Bugs!)
I'm sure that he meant that I am the hypocrite and the troll, but, just like your average troll, this troll didn't bother to pay enough attention or read what was typed properly. Comments like this only back everything I have typed right up. Par for the course. Believe me, I'm not surprised.
I'd call this troll a fucking idiot, but TW just might remove my comment. Although, I have made several requests to have the "Ex-Arizonan is a Troll hypocrite" comment removed...and guess what? It is still there as I'm typing this. (Sad!)
It makes me think...is TW not paying attention or do they actually support this obvious misinformation? Sometimes I wonder. If the Webmaster is on vacation, you need someone to carry that weight when they're away.
I understand if this comment gets removed. What I will not understand is if this comment gets removed and the "Ex-Arizonan is a Troll hypocrite" comment doesn't get removed along with it.
P.S. Ex-Arizonan, you are definitely not a troll.
Fuck All Trolls!
Most sincerely, DC
Prop 205: The Regulation and Taxation of Marijuana Act SHOULD BE REJECTED by the Voters of Arizona!
The "Medical Marijuana" of today is NOT like the Marijuana used in the 70's and 80's. Through Artificial Selection Experiments, strains of Marijuana have been developed by the Marijuana Drug Industry that substantially increase the potency of the Drug. As such, its' use poses serious potential consequences.
While this Drug is effective in treating some medical conditions; Muscle spasms caused by multiple sclerosis, Nausea from cancer chemotherapy, Poor appetite and weight loss caused by chronic illness, such as HIV, or nerve pain, Seizure disorders (childhood epilepsy), and Crohn's disease. Purified extracts from whole-plant marijuana can slow the growth of cancer cells from one of the most serious types of brain tumors.
Research in mice showed that treatment with purified extracts of THC and CBD, when used with radiation, increased the cancer-killing effects of the radiation (Scott KA, Dalgleish AG, Liu WM. The combination of cannabidiol and ?9-tetrahydrocannabinol enhances the anticancer effects of radiation in an orthotopic murine glioma model. Mol Cancer Ther. 2014;13(12):2955-67.)
Scientists are also conducting preclinical and clinical trials with marijuana and its extracts to treat numerous diseases and conditions, such as the following:
1. Autoimmune diseases (diseases that weaken the immune system): HIV/AIDS, multiple sclerosis (MS), which causes gradual loss of muscle control
2. Alzheimer’s disease, which causes loss of brain function, affecting memory, thinking, and behavior
6.Substance use disorders
The FDA has not recognized or approved the marijuana plant as medicine.
The Medical Marijuana Program in Arizona is a Big-Money-Making SCAM supported by the Marijuana Drug Industry and their Supporters in the Arizona Legislature!
Marijuana use for Medical purpose should be supported by Scientific evidence, including Clinical Trials, and regulated by the FDA; closely monitored by the tending Physician and State Department of Health."Medical Marijuana" should be available by Prescription only (in a Pharmacy) issued by a License Physician.
Congress should amend the Controlled Substances Act of 1970: Controlled Substances Act (CSA) (21 U.S.C. § 811). making Marijuana available for Medical Treatment.
The major consumers of this Drug, if legalized for so-called recreational purposes, will be the younger generation; destroying the very fabric/future of our Democracy.
This Drug should NOT be legalized for recreational purposes!!!
Very proud to have the endorsement of the Tucson Weekly. I have worked hard to remove partisanship from this election and reach out to ALL people of Pima County. Let's work together to move our County and our Sheriffs Department forward.
Please quote the exact sentence in any of my posts where I used the word "troll."
Also, it's "you're," not "your."
Ex-Arizonan calling others troll when your doing the same lol
Please correct the magazine name spelling. Accuracy is easy.
The correct name is Inc Magazine.
I would also like to thank you for your information and your response. It's nice to know that trolls aren't the only type of people that access this site. 😊
I did a bit more research and found that there was apparently a Brookings Institution study that What, Again may have been referring to. It was cited on CBS news, I think. What you say about rankings for cities over 500,000 makes sense. So, the third worst city on the Brookings Institution list is Philadelphia, and Philadelphia has a completely different set of circumstances, different demographics, a different history, different culture--I actually lived nearby for a while years ago. Could it be that there is a common thread here that may not be a Tucson-specific issue? I would imagine that debt, financial mismanagement and good old-fashioned corruption and graft may be big woes for any large-ish city. Also, there does seem to be a pattern of Sun Belt cities running out of money in recent years due to the fact that many snowbirds dumped their winter homes and seriously cut back on spending following the recession. This holds true for cities in Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, and SoCal as well. So no, I don't think the "anti-growth" card is entirely accurate. Thanks for the added info and fact-checking.
When Wrong, Again mentions that Tucson is the 6th poorest city, he, much like the rest of his trolling ilk, is only mentioning part of the facts.
The whole truth is that Tucson is currently rated as the 6th for U.S cities with populations over 500,000. He always fails to include that part.
Although I do understand why he does this. What he has to say doesn't hold as much weight when you reveal the whole truth. This is also typical of his trolling ilk.
10 Poorest Cities in America of 2015
Take your pick. More socialism/communism/liberalism isn't going to fix it.
Census: Tucson sixth-poorest large city
According to 24/7 Wall St., these are the 25 poorest towns in America. There isn't a single mention of Arizona anywhere on the list. http://247wallst.com/special-report/2016/05/09/americas-richest-and-poorest-towns/7/
Although, it is poor country but these event are very encouraging for the its people to become unit on to put their country on the way of progress. I also heard this news on ary news live channel last night.
There must be some growth. You mentioned that Tucson was the 5th poorest city in every other comment you've posted up until recently. Whether you like it or not, that's growth. You should just move away if you don't feel the growth is happening quickly enough. I understand that the North Pole is hiring; Santa is looking for elves with negative attitude. That would be the perfect job for you. You can package the coal that is distributed to those crabby little children that remind you of yourself. Merry Christmas Scrooge!
Tucson hasn't been known for its economic growth for decades, since the liberal anti-growthers, radical environmentalists and pro-illegal contingent took control decades ago. In fact, our economic growth is of the poorest in the nation, complementing our 6th poorest city in the country recognition.
One additional correction, please: these monks are from Wat Buddhametta: Tucson Buddhist Meditation Center, not from Dhammaratanaram temple.
Two corrections: The name of the dance troupe is spelled "Lajkonik". Also, the name of the food is "pierogi" (the word is already plural in Polish). A "pirogue" is a wooden canoe.
Nice a media that censors. Great job deleting what ever you want and then cry about freedom of speech. What a bunch of hypocrites Tucson weekly is.
Poppers: This is primarily a "Gay Drug" used to enhance Sexual Organism. It's use is dangerous and should be discouraged by the LGBT!!!
