I give it a frank 5 Stars as deserved and I now its a bold rating but well deserved. The location is exceptionally nice both inside and out and so are the employees. Rare especially in today's super mega Supermarket atmosphere where everything is on a corporate world wide level. I still consider Basha's a mid-size community oriented market in the purest definition.
Basha's Coffee Shop earns such high marks for a number of reasons situated nicely in a very nice store is one. The freshness that exudes from the beautiful selection of fresh Vegetables to the delectable fruit all within eyesight from the coffee shop. Another nice feature is the seemingly effortless merging of both the store and the Coffee Shop to work together all for the benefit of the customer. As the store has made sufficient room for the Coffee Shop which in turn sends a clear message of Independent Social patronage without the need to affiliate with Basha's the store. I personally have held a few meetings with clients in the Coffee Shop. I have to say the Coffee Shop was very successful in maintaining a professional atmosphere.
Basha's the Supermarket does a great job of remaining detached yet 100% supportive of the Coffee House in every aspect. The amenities are sufficient with more than adequate seating, power outlets and surface space. I have used the WI-FI at the Coffee House on several occasions and I must say they do make it easy by placing the instructions clearly on the wall within the WI-Fi area. Connection is always effortless and glitch-free and only a few feet from the Starbucks counter. The speed is more than sufficient. equivalent to my own DSL based landline back at home. So if you get a chance stop by and have a cup o' joe with us over at the Basha's Coffee House N. Swan Road, Tucson.
I don't want to give them any star at all. Ordering from them is a nightmare. It says 50 minutes on the website but takes two hours. It just also might happen that you don't get your order at all because their online order system is having trouble. If you know that, why wouldn't you check if there are open orders online!?!?! Won't order from them again because honestly, their pizza is just not that good either.
My husband and I are fairly regular customers at Don's Bayou because we love the good food and pleasant chats with the owners, Don and Teresa. They're such nice people and make us feel welcome as soon as we come in the door. Lately we've been going in on weekend mornings before noon when they serve large mugs of rich coffee (freshly brewed by the cup) and beignets (kind of like a doughnut: a square of fried dough eaten hot and sprinkled with powdered sugar). I know they're adding freshly-cut fruit to their weekend morning menu, too. We haven't tried it yet but intend to do so. The weather has been so beautiful, so we've been enjoying this weekend treat on the patio overlooking the garden area and the Catalinas.
None of their food, much of it deep-fried, is particularly good for the waistline, to which we can personally attest because we can't resist! One of our favorite entree items is the shrimp po'boy. It's plenty spicy with either remoulade or shrimp cocktail sauce , and oh so good! We also love the really thinly sliced, vinegary cabbage coleslaw. The food tends to be expensive, but really fresh seafood IS expensive, even on the coast. The fresh crayfish boil is wonderful and wonderfully messy. It's not always available, so we "liked" Don's on Facebook so we'll be alerted when the high quality crayfish have shipped in. There's a beer on tap that we really like called Andy-Gator. It has a higher alcohol content than normal, and is what we were looking for in a good brew to go with our spicy meals. The only thing we didn't care for were the fries, but who needs them?
This place deserves to be supported by happy, well-fed customers!
I have been to BareBonesBarbell for several personal coaching sessions about weightlifting. Jen Higgins is the coach and I couldn't ask for a more motivated and sincere person for a mentor. Her candor is tempered by her motivational attitude to inspire her students. She lets me know the good, bad and middle ground about my progress such that I find myself redoubling my efforts to improve.
Best pizza in town! I can't wait for the Beer Garden to open!
Fun n Funky location in the old multi-use industrial area of the Old Pueblo. The space itself, fantastic. Roomy, good space, great tools/resources, easy to feel confortable. Those involved on every level I have experienced are truly interested in furthering their art, your art, ART. Art For All. Art Saves Lives. Industria.
Beau Renfro and Clear Country, is a great band.. glad to see them on the east side
Dont let dr.alvarez steal money from you . Know your access rights. If you have optional access insurance a co payment is optional. This office will not tell you that ..and you may be giving dr.alvarez money you cant afford
Amazing event Amazing place Amazing cause
Best Thai food in Town. Been to them all.
The food is good but why don't they clean the place and replace the carpet?
What the hell happened tonight? I ordered for take out they told me 35 mins. I came in 35 mins and had to wait an extra 15-20 minutes. They handed me my soda first and it got warm during that time. I asked them to put it back in the fridge and when I got my pizza they handed me the same warm soda. I got home and the garlic knots were BLACK and hard and if I threw it at a window it would break it. AND we found a short black hair (possibly from facial hair or a male) on the pizza. The pizza was slapped together and the cheese didn't even stick to the crust. I can't even complain to the company because there isn't something to write on the website. I'm totally disappointed and honestly I rather pay more at a different pizzeria (and I live a block away) instead of the crap food and piss poor customer service I just experienced.
Food was just so-so, kinda greasy. They sit a cart of fried rice and other foods right outside the bathroom door off the kitchen, County Health Department would have a fit if they saw that for sure. Very polite and good service but have had better food.
Word for a long long time was that this establishment catered to the lesbian scene. Is it or is it still? Doesn't matter, I'm just interested in the scene and I'm just asking and saying.....I"m sure just asking is enough to get blasted and labeled.
Check your carry out food before you leave the store.
In Alibaba, you'll be charged ($39.99) for a combo (Beef, lamb and ground beef) but they intentionally give you beef steak, double ground beef and no lamb, while they charge you for the price of the lamb in their combo meal. The food is covered professionally and you think you'll have no reason to open the cover and check the food.
When you let them know about it, they admit that was what they gave you and they've charged you for the lamb combo without telling you!!!
They say they do that sometimes to their customers and they don't refund the customer!!!!
Alibaba restaurant lacks business integrity and honesty.
The owner Tony is a dishonest douchebag. He took a bunch of stuff from me to sell on consignment. 7 months later I have no accounting of it and he ignores my request to return my stuff. If you deal with this creep he will lie and stall and various other scammy moves. If you pay for something up front, don't count on getting it. I know a number of his supplier have dropped him because of similar complaints. He has an F rating from BBB. At this point I've filed against him in small claims court.
Kind of a rotten old place.
Nicest Metaphysical store around.
