Amazing place with the perfect atmosphere to just unwind. The bartenders are fast friendly and work hard to make sure you keep coming back. The regulars are friendly and seem to avoid drama at all cost.
KJ Sean is by far one of the best KJ's I have ever met. He has the most diverse and comprehensive collection of song choices and provides a fun experience.
The Venue, Salty Dawg, while a bit congested at times, provides friendly and fast service.
TMW is a must see whether its at the Salty Dawg or a street corner!
Great service! Friendly staff beef stroganoff and fish is awesome wings are all drumsticks 13 per order! Great dive where there's something todo everyday of the week especially now since footballs here!
No new reviews so i thought I would post one.
Friday has perennial 80's and G. Cover charge and packed. Saturday night ; no cover smaller crowd and sometimes very good bands (Giant Blue, etc). Definitely the night to go. Mixed crowd with many older people looking for hookups (well it's true). Drinks are very reasonable for Foothills, food good. Bartenders are nice and fast
M&L Airport Inn Bar and Grill come check it out! New bold and dynamic atmospere that will stimulate your mind. The new remodeled look is updated and has two new beautiful patios and a brand new kitchen opening soon!
Great bar great people friendly staff new hot bartenders ! Cant wait to see the finish project!
Caliente DJ has a great variety of music from Old school to the new hits and even reggaeton and cumbias! He has the party lights and he's system sounds great! The music he spins makes you wanna dance! =)
I enjoyed the entire experience. Everyone did an excellent job. Only suggestion would be to have more private tables and a little more elbow room. It's a beautiful location and very central.
Nice staff, pleasant atmosphere, and surprising edible bar food. Worth coming back to. Thanks!
Sanders Galleries is home to Ka've Bowls. If you've not seen these bowls, they are unique wood turnings created by local artist Dave Dosh. The bowls are exquisite works of art, created from natural and dyed woods which are often inspired by Dave's travels around the world.
Fun place, even for older folks like us.
The Place is great, sometimes a band called The Collectors show up and man, they really rock the place and make it a really fun time! I hope to see them there more often!
Good atmosphere. DJ Century spun a repertoire of music that kept the party going.
Played my requests and made it a fun time for me and my friends. Tucson's newest cutting edge Dj, check him out the boy has skills!
Gone but not forgotten. Tucson's last surviving drive-in theater closed abruptly on October 3, 2009. The DeAnza Corporation announced it was closing only 3 days before.
It had been offered for sale every year since at least 1999 when a Denver man tried to buy it and run it as a drive-in theater.
The DeAnza folks just abandoned it and did very little maintenance and zero promotion so it had become very shabby. It still had a loyal clientele though, and depending on the movies, business could be brisk on weekends.
Vandals speeded up the demise by covering every inch of the buildings with graffiti. Plans were underway to use the property as a fundraiser for a new drive-in but in response to the neighborhood and police complaints, the development company leveled everything and fenced in the property in March 2010.
Hopefully some day soon, another will rise like a Phoenix from the ashes and Tucson can once again enjoy movies under the stars.
This is a must see for anyone who has ever daydreamed in miniature, had fantasies of what it would be like if they could fit inside a dollhouse, or marveled, "How'd they do that?" Spent a couple of hours there with a visiting friend and was absolutely fascinated by the whimsical, technical details, historical correctness, and just plain charm of the various exhibits of dolls houses, roomboxes and fantasyland miniatures. My only complaint? More seating throughout the building for my weary feet and sore joints from bending and stooping to see all there was to see! Commit yourself to multiple visits!
I'm rarely out for night life, but if I'm shopping on 4th Ave. The Hut is the perfect place to rest my tootsies while I sip a Moose Drool, then beat my husband at pool! Just kidding, Baby...
North Shore is by far my favorite bar to go to during the week. The friendly atmosphere and always interesting locals make it a great place to relax and have a couple drinks. The food and alcohol are very fairly priced and even more so during happy hour. The only thing I do not like is on Fridays and Saturdays it turns into a hip hop bar and holds a completely different atmosphere. Over all 4 out of 5 stars! Best bar in town!
It says karaoke/ Open Mic, which is true, but the Open Mic is predominantly a Stand-up Comedy Open Mic, whereas at most other bars Open Mics are mainly geared toward Live Music/ Jams, so acoustic acts are welcome, but please aim to be funny. The Karaoke after Open Mic is usually pretty awesome too, because some of the comics stick around and sing... drunk, so that's entertaining. Wednesdays are All You Can Eat Wings for $9.99, also $1 Domestic Drafts along with other great drink specials and for anyone who performs atleast 3 times in a row, you get a free burger and soda. So please come down, bring your friends, have a good times. Open Mic starts at 7:30/8:00, Karaoke starts about 9:30/10:00
Re: “The Steakout Restaurant and Saloon”
