Nice atmosphere but that's were the fun stops. I mean some of the appetizers are OK, only when there're sold at happy hour prices mind you. Both times I an actual main courses they were WAY too salty and or WAY too sweet. Trust me, I like adventurous flavor but not when it's done like this. Wrong guys! The wannabes can have at it. I'll stick to Firebirds or Bluepoint when at La Encantada. Or, I can always go to AJ's, pay too much for grocery items and cook my own dinner.

Small bar with a tiny stage for bands. Owner books the same two bands over and over. Not enough good new talent. Same old same old. Not real bad or anything, however, a lot of burnt out smoker frequent this dive.

Bid deal. The TBG is a great disappointment to me. The one thing we have a lot of in Tucson is dessert and this little patch of botanical garden isn't much. The desert gardens in places as different as Phoenix and Monaco are much more interesting and provide better sights. The book store is miniscule and the members don't get a discount on books.

Ate here once; I got the hummus plate and my friend got the hummus sandwich. Rundown:

Too pricey for most people. Dining room is dreary, not a fun place

Portions are now smaller, no complimentary orange for dessert now. I have not tried the sushi, but the bento boxes and tempura are fried with cheap cooking oil that stays with you, and if your stomach is sensitive find a place that used olive oil or canola oil of a good quality. I Love Sushi was better a few years ago.

Decent food, decent service EXCEPT IF the owner is waiting on you as most days she has a bit of an attitude. Prices are higher than most other Thai places AND "5 out of 5" on the hot scale here is really pretty mild (at least for my palate). Char's and Bangkok Cafe have this place beat on all counts.

We purchased the 3rd price tier level of tickets for Spamalot ($42)and were shocked to find out how high the seats were up in the upper balcony. There were only 4 rows after us (making it the furthest from the stage) and we wondered WHY we bothered to purchase those tickets when the $27 were virtually the same. We found ourselves STRAINING to hear and understand the words. Acoustically, the upper level is HORRIBLE. The production was good but they do need to do something about the poor sound in the upper areas (or drastically lower their prices).
