I was really looking forward to dining at Sher-e-Punjab.
It was not what I thought. Other east asian restaurants are better. Reading the other posts makes me wnder from whence they came...
In a word, crap. Seriously! I have nothing positive to say. Everything tastes like day-old leftovers. Nothing is fresh.
The one time I was here, the owner (female) was very rude. The friends I was with agreed. She was short with us when asking questions (it was our first time there) and made us feel so uncomfortable after delivering our food with an angry disposition that we left without eating it. Needless to say, I can't recommend this restaurant.
One of the reasons my friends and I frequented del Lago, is the General Manager was always so friendly and would take the time to visit with us and ensure our experience was pleasurable. Fortunately, he was able to replace the woman supervisor with a more pleasant woman, who like him, ensures a nice experience. However, since he is no longer there, I will no longer go back. I understand the "owner" from Chigago decided to "make a change". Typical old man from Chicago with an ego. I am sure he is used to rude, business only, save a penny type of business. Here's a word of advice for him. Stay in Chicago. People here in Vail AZ appreciate a manager like Jim, and we will follow him to where he ends up. For now, we will frequent Montogomery's before coming back to del Lago. Nice job old man. And I can say that, as I too am a senior citizen.
Too expensive, passable food, chain joint, syrupy service (how many times must you ask me if everything is OK?) not again.
Horrible service, mediocre food - add a minimum 30 minute wait and this is what you can expect from Blue Willow. They have some good dishes: the chicken tortilla sour cream bake, fruit crepes, and quiche. But, none of their food is worth the wait or the glares you'll catch from their hipster hostesses and waiters. Do yourself a favor, go down the street to Los Alazones and pay $5 less for a superior burrito!
Overpriced wine and the worst hummus I've ever eaten! The brie appetizer is okay, but I wouldn't eat anything here unless it's happy hour, the food just isn't that good. I guess I should just say that it's plain bad.
Zivaz's ambiance mirrors Sauce and Pei Wei -esk bright plastic, colorful, cafeteria-style. The food is overpriced and over-sauced. Salmon salad is mediocre, but fish is often overcooked. Several vegetarian options. I wanted to like this locally owned restaurant, but the best thing I can say about it is that their green salsa is tasty.
The food here is totally bland and NOTHING ordered between myself and the 3 other people I went with was remotely fresh. According to my friend, they got a new owner a couple years ago and that's when the food started to suck.
Horrible! Maybe we were expecting to much, but it's not worth $39 a ticket, the show took close to an hour to start after it's scheduled time. The whole show was very amateurish, the "actors" served as the waiters, the food was just disgusting, I too have no idea what that white sauce was nor what the heck that bland rubbery rolls they tried to pass off as chicken. I attended the 11/13/2010 and was one of the people that walked out. Don't do it listen to the reviews, I'm not one to walk out, so I don't waste my money but it was too much to handle.
In 10 years of living in Tucson, this is the worst idea I have ever suggested to my friends and family. No Mystery here give it up, the acting is pitiful, food beyond explanation and yes what was that white "sauce". Definately NOT for children bordered on pornograhic. No words can describe how I wanted to just get up and walk out like some of the other tables did but having paid $39.00 a person we saw it through to the end. One would think after 40 years you would just get better, not the case with this one, please fellow theater goers pass this one up......
This was the biggest waste of 3 hours of my life and a total rip-off. Lame dialogue, props, talent and definitely not kid-friendly despite what the delusional owner said. The biggest MYSTERY of the night was what the heck what the white stuff that was poured all over the "chicken." Better Business Bureau, it's time to close the longest running Mystery dinner show in Arizona.......Please.
I get the impression the buffet is leftovers from some other restaurant. I would consider going hungry instead of dining here again. It is not just one thing either. Dirty place, low quality food, everything seems to be at room temperature except for a cold glass of water.
Horrible horrible customer service, the food was cold when it came out and they just recently raised the price of almost everything by $1 - I would pay the price if they had half a clue how to manage and treat their customers. This is my 2nd bad exp. as I gave them a 2nd chance thinking the first time was maybe just a bad day for them. Wrong!!!! I will NEVER eat at this location again - nor will any of our friends or family.
The worst cross-fit gym in Tucson. I was a member at this gym, until I noticed people getting injured, not using good technique or form!!! The owner of this gym- Jennifer Higgins is totally strange. She drops people for not following a paleo diet, or participating as fully as she expects. If the ownership of this gym was better, I think it would be a much better place. It is dirty and small and the trainers aren't exceptional. Save your money!!! There are much better/cleaner/nicer/professional Xfits in Tucson.
If there was a ZERO star that's what I would rate this place as. The owner - ROSS HORWICTZ - hung up on me when I called and was inquiring about seating arrangements and he would not honor a certificate to his own establishment! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND HARD EARNED MONEY TO GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! I would reccomend finding something else to spend over a hundred dollars on! Oh, and by the way, gratuity of 18 percent is automatically tacked onto your bill!!! So you're tipping even if you are not satisfied which in my opinion makes me think that there were a lot of unhappy customers and had to start that policy!
Don't waste your time or money at the Swan Rd location. It's hard to believe the owners allow this place to operate using the same name as the Dove Mountain store (which is absolutely fantastic). A visit to Swan Road found disinterested, messy wait staff and food that was not worthy of the Vero Amore name. No water was offered, had to ask for menus, no offer of a wine list, grey colored prosciutto in the appetizer..... Not good.
Spend the time and drive to Dove Mountain for the real Vero Amore. You will be shocked at the difference.
