The food is very good, different from other sushi restaurants because it also has Mexican food and the tacos are the best!!
Best tucson pottery.
Great place to have a good time.
This place was NOT good. We had about 24 members of the USS ARIZONA PEARL HARBOR SURVIVOR ASSOCIATION observing the December 7 anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack. We did have one survivor with us (only 7 are still alive). The "show" was surreal and corny. Most of us pushed full plates of food back, uneaten. For this our group payed $1000.
This is my opinion and not necessarily the position of our association. I gave it one star because there was not a zero star option.
Tucson's best country dance bar. Straight country music. Live music 5 nights a week, large dance floor. Many types of drinks and beer, now enlarging wine selection. Free dance lessons.
Has it reopened?
Onolicious local kine grinds from local boy and girl. Reasonable prices, friendly service. Ey, where else you going get malasadas and poi in the desert?
Fred's is a long drive from Tucson, off Sierrita Mountain Rd. and not so easy to find, but worth the effort. It's nothing fancy - just an old-school steakhouse with good food and a great, out-in-the-country atmosphere. The beef is the best thing to order on the menu. Fred's has a roping arena and also stores a lot of the rolling stock used in the Rodeo Parade. We have been going to Fred's for over 30 years, even though we no longer live in Tucson. It's a taste of what Tucson was like before the population explosion.
Coyote Pause is a delightful place to eat breakfast or lunch on the west side of the Tucson Mountains. The menu features items using local ingredients, everything is tasty and prepared properly. Service is friendly and efficient. We eat here whenever visiting the big city.
Will never patronize this restaurant ever again!. They wouldn't accept a $100 gift certificate. We received it as a gift from some grateful friends, but management wouldn't honor it. WHY NOT? It's equivalent to us having paid for our meal in advance. Definitely not a sound business approach for endearing themselves to their customers.
Long-form improv totally blows my mind! This place is fantastic! What a great community!
If you're entertaining your yachting buddies from the Riviera and are looking for a local showpiece to impress...this is not the place. If you're looking for great Thai food at a great price...Ill see you there!!!!
One of my very favorite places to eat breakfast in Tucson. The carne asada breakfast burrito is Tucson's best. The biscuits, available on the weekend, are superb, and again the best in Tucson. I also like the bagel and lox plate. In terms of lunch/dinner, I enjoy the pasta alla vodka (pay the extra $ and get the sausage on top), as well as the fish tacos. Wait staff are nice and attentive, and it's a great place to have a conversation (meaning, you aren't impeded by too-loud music or bad acoustics as happens too much in Tucson).
We have been going to Gueseppi for the last year or so. I wanted to add a current review here.
The food is really really good. I had the Shrimp Picatta last night. It had plenty of perfectly cooked shrimp, artichoke, spinach and capers in a wine butter garlic sauce and served over linguinni. This is one of the best restaurant dishes I have ever had anywhere. It was a special but they said to just ask for it anytime and they would make it. The eggplant parm here is also the best in town. The prices are very reasonable and service has always been great for us.
This place is a total blessing! My son has been going here since we moved from California a couple months ago, and he loves this place. He attends here after school and truly loves all the great activities, and especially the legit basketball court he can ball at. His goal in life is to become a professional NBA player, and once he saw the court he fell in love with it. Paid $10 for the whole school year, and they even provide dinner for the kids at 5:30pm every day. Staff is great! They really create a relationship with the kids, and get to know them and the parents well.
I wish I could personally thank Jim Click & his wife for this wonderful facility. I drive 22 minutes every day just so he can go. He doesn't even want to leave the place.
Def 5 Stars!
This is a nice place to shop for gently used clothes. Every time I go there I find either, shoes, jewelry or clothes that in great condition and can't beat the price. I bought a beautiful black evening dress that I got so many great comments on when I wore it. The staff there is so friendly and helpful and the nice music they play as you are shopping in very inviting and pleasant. They definitely get 5 stars. Check it out!!
Barbea is a wonderful teacher and performer. I'm honored to be in her class learning Brazilian African dance. She always has a good attitude, smile on her face, and spunk. I'd love to dance in a class with her every day.
Pats is still great but the Pats on 6th. Avenue was the REAL Pats.
You could buy an 8 pack with a box of fries for around $1.25, and the quality of the food was REAL food; NOT turkey or who knows what the corporations now have you eating.
Sure do miss them and Sandy's; THE best burgers in town! 10 for a buck!
Always a joy to stop in at Cata Vinos. Yvonne and the staff are always so helpful in helping find the right wine for my tastes. So many wonderful wine to choose from, and it isn't necessary to bust my budget on pricey wines. Highly recommended.
This is a wonderful wine shop with a variety of wines that are budget-friendly. Cuvee, the greeting dog, is super friendly as is Vino the cat. What could be better than tasting wine while petting a cat or dog? The personal attention Yvonne Foucher gives to each customer cannot be matched by any of the "big box" stores. Definitely earns every star possible!
