horrible service, horrible food, long wait time, staff could care less!
dang guy, you were on the southside, VERY CLOSE TO CLOSING TIME...
AND YOU WENT OUT ON A BUSY DATE.... you don't see that you made several
contributions to the perfect storm???
pop a handful of chill pills next time...
OH. and im the owner, and I want to talk to you?? hah! I don't think so.
Salsa is made at your table FRESH. Many tasty dishes and vege choices. Mariachi band can be a bit loud. Best Mexican restaurant on the east side, by far.
One of our top favorite places to go for a special night. We've been taking our kids since they were babies and the staff knows them and can always find something for them to eat (burger, fish n chips, pasta, etc.) even though there's no "kids' menu". The kind of place where the waitstaff has been there for years. Our favorite time of year is during the RoadTrip menu!

Service was good but the food was excellent, very happy with the experience and woukd come back again! Loved the appetizers. Musseld were great
It's been a favorite of mine for many years. I've been going there since they took over the place from its previous owners. Great for breakfast and lunch. Get there early for lunch because the crowd from D-M fills it up.
BEST PHOTO LAB IN TOWN. IN COMPLETE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE ABOVE REVIEW. Richard, the owner, and the entire staff, know what they are doing and provide good quality photo services, good customer service, at good prices. I have been using Centric Photo for years for both personal and professional photo needs including scanning of 40-50 year old negatives and slides and they always come out right.
When did Lupita's close, the building space is vacant with the sign gone??
The Metzger is excellent. It was my favorite of the 3 specialty tacos. Served with au jus? Creative. Although it was plain as day, I had to ask what it was because it was a surprise to see it accompany a taco. Don't dip it, just dump it on top.
Time your visit for 645pm on a Sunday. Sit on the patio and you'll get an eyeful when Hi Fi across the street raises those massive sunscreens. It's a PG13 glass fishbowl. What a party! Video wall, DJ on stage and Go Go Girls dancing in silhouette on the bar.
Say what you want to about the spotty "service" but I see the General Manager humping it the whole time. That's good enough for me.
As for people constantly wanting to F I L L themselves: those who live in fat asses should not throw stones. Ya Taco Bell pig out monkeys. Stay out of our way if it's possible to move your fat ass aside far enough for others to pass.
Love it for breakfast! Will try it for dinner today. The food is great as is the service.
Outstanding Sunday brunch at a very reasonable price.
If you go this restaurant, you deserve whatever you may get. The food is good; depends on who's cooking. If you appreciate your waitress/waiter, DO NOT tip with your card. Use cash. The owner keeps all the credit card tips for himself, which I don't believe is legal. If you ask him about it, he will politely tell you that only he and the manager are "servers"; even though, many people actually "serve" food at this restaurant...I would also ask how it is that a City Of Tucson Employee could have passed this restaurant after inspection. Eating out is all the same, mostly. Restaurants are filthy....but....they're not all bad. The food can be very pleasing but, there needs to be less attention paid by the owner to female employees and female customers and more towards running a proper business; i.e.-not stealing tips from your employees. Oh...And, it's probably not alright to be drinking on the job.
MY FAVE PLACE. ALWAYS GREAT MUSIC, AND PEOPLE!! GOOOOOD FOOD.
I wish I could give it a 0 star!!!!
I just spent 2&1/2 hrs on the phone to Rancho Vistoso Urgent care billing and my own insurance. On 2/17/14 I went to urgent care for what possible was a reaction to a med that I had started 6 days before. UC sent me to the ED at Oro Valley. The UC said I needed a lab drawn (CPK) they could not do that. Anyhow, I was charged by a NP a separate bill. $268 and per My husband and my memory I was never seen my anyone but a RN and a LPN. I called the billing co and they said they had no insurance information on me. I gave it to them and my insurance co paid her. Now they say I owe a $50 co-pay? Why? We paid the UC the $50 already but they say it doesn't cover the NP. So for a 45 min visit 15 in the waiting room, to get sent to the ED cost me $100.00?????? After 1hr wait in ED waiting room, I was told by a very young triage RN that I didn't need a lab that I had the flu and she was putting me back in the waiting room. I got billed for that visit too. We left and called my PCP the next day.
Yes I called OV hosp and talked with several people and I never heard back. I am now out over $300 and I was never seen by a doctor, np or pa. With all the changes in medical insurance there are still some BIG ISSUES! Yes I talked with my insurance co and as of today no one will or can help me with this. I was referred to the fraud dept. but they are not taking calls at this time... SAD!!!!!
SO anyone reading this please tell everyone that the Rancho Vistoso urgent care and the OV hospital is not anywhere you want to go. Their service sucks, their attitude sucks and they will bill you for services you didn't receive.
I haven't been disappointed here. The lemon potatoes are amazing, the gyro is succulent and full of flavor, the falafal is one of the best in town. The service has been mostly good, The service is good and swift. This is one of my favorites.
I was not impressed. I felt the portions were small, way over priced, and mediocre at best. I would look elsewhere.
I enjoyed the authentic Polish food. The soup was just right with all the flavors of eastern Europe. The pierogies were yum and the meats imported and full of flavor. I would recommend this place.
This is not Japanese like the headline says. This is pure Chinese food and very good at that. Great dim sum mostly decent service. and atmosphere ain't bad either.
