We finally went here and both had combo plates with chicken and pulled pork. Verdict: The meats were just so so. Brush Fire lacked that quality, fresh-cooked favor you'd expect at better BBQ houses. The meats were rather soggy and their sauces do little to make things taste better. In fact, we'd advice you to order your meat without sauce. This way it won't be swimming in it. Simply add your own afterwards. And the sides? OK but nothing to write home about. But at just $10.50 a plate, we can't complain too much.

Re: “The Hog Pit Smokehouse Bar and Grill”
This place has a great deal of potential and is pretty damn good as is. There are times, however, where their BBQ lacks the flavor punch that it is capable of.
As a bar, this place is 5 stars for sure!
