ate there several times, service was slow and once my chicken was undercooked. Never go there again.
this place absoloutley sucks, and the food is below average. they have changed their hours of business, and it makes it impossible to go their and eat. most families eat between 7 and 9pm and they close at 7pm . what type of restaraunt business operates on a 2-4 hour schedule. i dont recommend this place anymore to anyone. the staff is rude!
We ate at Panda Village the other night. When we entered the restaurant, it was empty which is usually a bad sign. It was. We ordered iced tea which had a funny taste, I sent mine back. Then when our dinners came, the curry beef was filled up with water chestnuts which is odd for a curry dish. The 'three delight' was terrible, the chicken was spoiled. The hot and sour soup was OK but not exciting. We are unlikely to eat there again.
If you're talking about that place on 22nd Street in Tucson, AZ. I ask: Have you been there lately? The food (Buffet) is usually room temperature and the staff usually has a very bad attitude. The one server never seems to wash her hands and I have in the past seen food being cut up on one of the tables in the dining area.
As for "decore", the place is dusty and dingy. Not a place I would go if I wasted to be sure of not becoming sick later on.
Yuck! My wife and I ate here last week... here's the rundown:
*Multiple hairs in the the tempura shrimp roll
*Dirty floors
*Sushi too warm... like it had been sitting out for a while
*Overpriced sake
*Bad lighting
*Overpriced in general
...can't really think of any positives besides the sake buzz.
The place has all the ingredients to make a great restaurant: beautiful location and surroundings, new building, well decorated, great atmosphere. It’s just missing one thing: service. Basic service: water, bread, order taking, timeliness, and follow up. I would expect a restaurant claiming this high caliber of service to be on top of the basics. The staff seemed under qualified to work there. We had reservations at 7:00. We didn’t get our salads until after 8:30. In the meantime, our table of 8 devoured about 8 bread baskets and we had to ask for everything from the butter, oil & balsamic and even water. I can’t even blame the service on how busy it was. We were among 5-6 tables…
The food was good, but exceptional by no means. With prices higher than McMahon’s and Fleming’s I was expecting magic. My 45.00 rib eye definitely was no masterpiece. Save your drive and money.
THE WORST SERVICE IN TUCSON, AZ. THE OWNER LIKES TO KISS PEOPLE ON THE MOUTH. YUMMY, MONO FOR EVERYONE :) THE FOOD IS TOSSED IN YOUR LAP, AND GENERALLY YOUR MONEY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN WHETHER OR NOT YOU ENJOYED YOUR FOOD. WASTE OF $$$$$
I personally didn't care for it, but I admit I have bland tastes compared to most people. My African tuna sandwich (only thing which seemed to allow me to avoid peppers, onions, etc.) had diced crunchy green things in it, possibly bell pepper.
So much for the food, that's subjective. The waiter was irritating. His stock response to everything from taking an order to being asked for the check was "You got it."
Re: “Sur Real”
Slow service and they were out of everything decent. Food I did get was not good. Place is loud later in the evening, feels more like a bar than a restaurant.
