Nothing wrong with it being in Sahuarita...we need more sit down places to eat. I was thrilled to hear they were coming to Sahuarita. Hubby works at the PCC campus downtown and he and some of his instructers go to the original El Charros from time to time and he is always talking about it. I was a bit dissappointed, the tables were to close together. The food is so so...although I do like the original taco...they are made like I was taught to make the...beef patty and tortilla are fried together...they can keep their lettuce salad topping. I prefer shredded lettuce onions , tomatoes and cheese for my toppings..not a salad mixture with peas ans radishes. We have visited three times...I prefer Manuels local Mexican resturant. Sure would love to see and Italian or seafood eateries here in Sahuarita.
We eat here quite regularly. Always a good experience, and one of the kids' favorite places to go. I've never experienced any bad service or bad attitudes. In fact, I would question those people who rush home to go online to complain about a place. If you don't like it, don't go back. Vote with your dollars, not with some stupid website.
This is one of the best Happy Hours in Tucson....reasonably priced good wines and a nice selection of appetizers that are all good sized and delicious! Get here!
My favorite restaurant - why did it close?
I have personally been going to this amazing place for the past couple years. My family and friends use Sushi Ten for celebrations or just a night out. This is the only place i have ever been to let alone just in Tucson that has a half off happy our of such a variety of things for such a long period of time.

THE best restaurant in Tucson.
If your starving go there and eat. Otherwise, stay away.
This place is under new management and is now a great place to visit. The owner and his wife are very friendly and make you feel right at home. The Mexican menue is typical, but the quality of the food is way above average. The pozole, which is available only a couple of days a week can't be surpassed. It has to be the best in the Tucson area and if you are lucky enough to be there when they have it, you're in for a real treat. The chef really knows how to cook terrific Mexican food that is fresh and delicious. The second time we went we had the enchaladas and the tamales and we were not the least bit disappointed. Everything was moist and flavorful and could'nt have been better. If you happen to be driving south on Nogales Highway, don't pass up the opportunity to enjoy this great family run bar and grill, or better yet, set it as your destination and plan a trip to eat there as soon as you can. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
New management and maybe chefs. Not as good as in the past.
These places could use a good scrubbing, but must be ok with
the health department. Have been to Luke's on Ft Lowell as well
as the one on Grant. Big difference in the amount of meat put onto
the sandwiches. Ft. Lowell site knows how to load up the bun,
much more stingy at the Grant location. The Italian Beef is
fantastic!!
This place is phenomenal. I love everything about it. For those naysayers.. Good, that means I will always be able to get a table there.
Papa Locos is sooooo goood. Actually you can grab a six pack of beer next door and bring it in to the restaurant. Alot cheaper than paying $4-5 for a beer at other places.
We visited this restaurant with a large group of people and our waitress was wonderful. She managed to get all our orders correct and had a wonderful smile the entire time. Everyone enjoyed the food, this place is great can't wait to visit it again!
I go to the Guadalajara Grill West
at Least 2 times per month for Happy Hour
Great Place to Chill; Beer and Margarita's are great.
Fresh Chips and Salsa; The Owner Emma is very customer service oriented
and plus she is easy on the eyes.
The bartenders Ramon and Christina are great.
I give this place a 10.

Oh my gosh. Blah-anchi's. Crap-anchi's. No, really. My husband had the meatball sandwich and I have the lasagna. Yuk! So flavorless and blah. We could be wrong but from the looks of their pizzas, we suspect they are on par with what you might get at a school cafeteria.
Would recommend this restaurant to anyone based on two main observations.
1. Charming atmosphere and superb service.
The server was attentive and very helpful. He answered all questions that I had and was overall very knowledgeable regarding the food that was being served.
2. Food far surpassed my expectations.
The dinner salad was light and refreshing and portioned to be the perfect amount where I didn't feel that I had eaten too much when I had finished while still leaving me ready for the main course.
The Lasagna was superb and came with ample supply of delicious marinara sauce. I'm told that it weighs in nearly close to a pound. I was happily able to take half of it home with me as I look forward to finishing it for dinner.
Plate presentation was excellent as well. Things looked to be placed in specific locations to make the dish more appetizing unlike other restaurants who just throw it together and serve it out.
Overall, I rather enjoyed my experience and look forward to returning in the future.
Me & my ol' lady went to the Monterey Court Cafe for breakfast on a Saturday morning and we both decided to get the Monterey Breakfast (burrito), mine served w/ the seasonal fruit and her's w/ the southwest potatoes. What a great choice we made, everything in this burrito seemed to compliment each other; plus the pico de gallo on the side was beyond fresh. It may seem expensive @ $7.95 but believe me, I was convinced that when I saw the size of this thing that I would be taking some of it home. That didn't happen. It was so good that my gluttonous side kicked in & I devoured the monsterous sized thing. Delicious food, great service & a very casual atmosphere. We will be returning in the near future to try some of the other delectable sounding items on the menu. Highly recommended!
The menu items are really good. I wouldn't recommend the buffet though.
Re: “Pinnacle Peak”
Love their steak and beans, and salads...never have enough room for dessert. Servers have been friendly. We enjoy walking around the trail dust town, and shop a bit...don't visit much anymore since moving to a rural area SE of Tucson...have to drive to Sonoita for a decent steak now :D
