This place is great. My husband and I enjoy the hummas and pita platter that comes promptly after being seated, as well as the gyros and the spanikopta. The walls are painted with murals to look like a Greek countryside. OPA! is an all round pleasent option.
Darn good place for a burger and wine! A bevy of burgers with chicken and veggie options, too. During happy hour, the plain & simple burger is $2 off and beer/wine is 1/2 off. The wine can be ordered by the glass or bottle and the 1/2-off (during happy hours) applies to all wine, whether by the glass or bottle and regardless of price. The burgers are cooked to your liking and there are plenty of choice things to outfit your burger with. 5 TV's above the bar (there's also table seating and outside seating in both the front and rear) and a friendly staff make for an enjoyable experience.
The food is usually very good. I love that they bring a pitcher of water and coffee to the table.. The prices are a little high, but their menu selection is great. Service is usually friendly and efficient. I'm glad they are opening one at River and Oracle.
Went a few weeks ago to check out 80's and Gentleman and thought it was pretty damn good! The band was tight and the atmosphere was fun. There seemd to be a mixed crowd of all ages and somewhat of a small cult following with their 80's dress theme going on. The band broke out some songs I really hadn't heard in a long time and it was apparent they have it together. As a bonus, I was able to take my drink outside with me to a burn a smoke. Can't comment on the food but the drinks seemed to come without any noticeable problems so all in all, I had a fun night and will definately go again.
A quality operation all the way around. The type of restaurant you would expect to find in an upscale community. The room is quiet and attractively decorated. Service is professional, no gaps and no imitation striving to be current. The food is well prepared and well presented. I would not classify it as a destination, but it is well worthwhile.
How can you trust the opinions of someone who says "there are very few good places to eat in Tucson"? I can name dozens off the top of my head, and I would include Bai Thong among them. As an immigrant from the Bay Area, my standards for Thai food are pretty high, and Bai Thong is the only Thai place here I can abide (although I've never tried Thai China Siam on Oracle). Bai Thong isn't spectacularly good but I'm always happy with what I get--e.g. the shrimp with pineapple (somewhere around #6 on the entrees), the smoked/dried beef appetizer (whatever it's called)--and the Thai tea ice cream is great.
Went there for their Valentine's Special Dinner - amazing!
The food is very good and the portions are huge. The cramped space is balanced by friendly service & a neighborly effort to please.
Cool week this week.. show keeps building.. tell all your friends and bring em out to listen, sing, or play~
Good prime rib sandwiches, make sure you share because they are huge!
Small place but very good pizza, and good friendly service.
We had the heart attack pizza and it was great!!!
Bentley's has excellent soups and other fare, as well as great coffee drinks. The atmosphere is comfortable and airy. The staff has a complete list of all menu ingredients so for vegans or gluten intolerant/dairy intolerant diners this is an excellent place to eat. Be aware that while there is WiFi, it is cut during the lunch rush so they can accommodate their lunch crowd. People tend to use Bentley's as an office, which can make finding a table problematic. Clients should be sensitive to the owner's business needs and free up tables when necessary. This is a great place for desserts as well - overall high food quality, everything made fresh. Highly recommended!!!
What a great room, great service, food..
Love the atmosphere and the food has always been great. Fabulous desserts!
Great Persian food, especially since I didn't expect to see one in Tucson! I plan to go there next time I'm in Tucson. Persian food, in my opinion, is better than Greek or Indian (although I do love Indian food). Not spicy but very flavorful is prepared properly.
I just wish the atmosphere was nicer.
The food is fast, consistent and good. As a friend from East Europe said, "It is a coffee shop just like in American movies."
I don't know what the previous two commenters ate, but this place is actually pretty good. The pizza is flavorful, kind of a wheaty/honey crust that I enjoy. We've taken friends here also and they've always liked it. Service is fast and friendly, too. I guess the commenter above owes me $5, because I can honestly look him in the eye and tell him I enjoy Boston's!
This place is a keeper. Need I say more?
much needed fun and entertainment in the Foothills! Thanks!
Re: “Bluefin Seafood Bistro”
The seafood is, of course, great. And, no matter what kind of restaurant scene one likes, they have something for everyone. Upstairs is quiet and reserved (you can take the staircase or the elevator to reach there). The patio opens into the Casas Adobes courtyard and the nearby fountain provides pleasant sounds. The bar has booth seating, table seating with 1/2 bench and 1/2 chairs, and the bar stools are the most comfortable I've sat in. Happy hour is energetic and a variety of oysters are served at all times. The wine list is ample and there's a reserve list if you want to splurge a little more.
