What Is Employees Uniform?
Mosaic is not the same restaurant I remember. Went there for New Year Eve lunch 12/31/14. Asked for a window seat,(there were plenty) and got seated in a plastic bush in the center of the room. Across the way,a tablecloth was draped over a table that had the top glass over its contents broken,that was left there next a to the window....where some of us would have liked to sit.The waitress warned us about the new waiter that would be taking our order,and mentioned that she would make sure he got it right.Which he did,but then we never were checked on after that,until he brought the check.Our table had only forks on a napkin,as did most of the tables with diners and without. As I pondered whether it was a new Mexican tradition to eat with only forks,I noticed that 4 recently seated diners had knives and forks. Okay....dishwasher problem,not enough utensils,who knows....But I will not be returning to Mosaic any time soon.Shoddy shoddy shoddy without the dialed down drink or menu prices.

Exquisite food and presentation, one of the best barbacoa burrito tacos etc. I've tasted in any Mexican/ American restaurants available in the Tucson n surrounding areas but don't just go by what your reading please feel free to explore the menu for your self many amazing dishes here n friendly services

The best Beer garden in Tucson....
We have been eating at Little Poca Cosa now The Little One for 13 years. We ate there yesterday. When I saw the name change I was concerned that the ownership changed. What a relief to see Sandra! When you decide on The Little One for lunch you get the loud music and a joyous owner. It rocks. Our group ordered 3 Chicken Moles and 1 Tamale, Ginger Basil Lemonade and 2, "you can get those anywhere drinks".
This is lunch and a love fest. If you don't want to pay cash, go with the flow and give hugs, there are plenty of other places in downtown that are less colorful and cost more. For those who think this freshly prepared, locally sourced, original menu items are pricey, this isn't McDonald's! It is very good value for the price.
Disappointed with my experience! Heard good things about the food and never got the opportunity to experience it. The way my husband and I felt sitting there patiently and watching several get seated that came after us was disturbing. Almost felt as if it was a racist thing. We were the only blacks. But oh well! Many other restaurants to try next time we hit up Tucson.
Great food. Good prices. Recommended.

Not sure what is up with the negative comments. . . I have never had anything but PHENOMENAL meals at The Little One; there isn't a bad choice on the menu. My personal favorites are the Cochinito en Chipotle, and the Mole; also unbelievable Chile Rellenos and Tamales, AND AMAZING limonadas and fresh fruit drinks that will KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF!!! (try the beet-mandarin limonada if she has it). Incredibly fresh food made with love, and, yes, hugs (and generally kisses too) are mandatory. Service is fast and friendly. SO, if you are uptight you might not like the vibe (loud music and an owner who loves her patrons), but only a fool or a philistine would not love the food!

This restaurant serves world-class food and wine. The only authentic Spanish restaurant in the area, with seafood, lamb, beef, pork and vegetarian selections, as well as many smaller tapas. There is live entertainment nightly, plus the annual Flamenco Festival.
We ordered the cheese crisp. We forgot to order chiles on it. When she brought it back it had green peppers on it. I said these are green peppers, and she told the cook and he said no, those are green chiles. Ok. Bottom line is I was born in Tucson and raised on sonoran style Mexican food. I KNOW the difference between the two. Don't insult me by telling me different. And, and, the beans I ordered maybe were four tablespoons full. If the young man who came to the table to sooth us is the owner, oh, my, god. Good luck in the future little boy, were gone and won't be back. Barry A Malone
Great beer selection but service is way too slow and they don't care. That may work on Friday night when you want people to linger, but at 12 on a Tuesday people need to get back to work. UA staff gets an hour for lunch, I once took my office there and got in trouble because it took us 1.5 hours to get back. Not good!
Used to like it but it has gone down hill over the last few years. Poor quality pizza and horrible service. I have had multiple deliveries where the pizza arrives 30 or 40 minutes later than they say it will and when it gets there it is burnt on the bottom and cold. It takes a lot of effort to screw up that bad. Not to mention EVERY time I have added a six pack to my order the driver "forgets it in the cooler" and has to go back to his car for it. Hmmmmm. Im guessing they hope you forget so they get free beer.
A good as their pizza may be, they just lost a customer. While the pizza is great, the employees have no concept of customer service and customer satisfaction. They are poorly trained, rude, arrogant and stupid. Friday, I had an appointment after work so I placed an order for a pizza 1 hour prior to picking it up. The young lady on the phone advised we that it would be ready in plenty of time.
When I arrived, I presented my coupon for $18.33, printed out from their website. I have bee a lifelong customer of Brooklyn Pizza, however, my experience was one the worst examples of customer service I have ever experienced.
The cashier took my credit card and rang me through for $21.77. My estimate of the charge was $18.33 (coupon) + 7% tax =$19.61. When I asked her what the extra charge was, I received three different and ridiculous responses, one after the other, 1) "That's just the way the register rings it up", 2) "Our prices have gone up", 3) "This coupon is not correct and must have come from some other website", and finally, 4) "I don't know, I will need to get my manager".
My pizza was supposed to be ready at 5:10pm; it was now 5:20pm and I was still standing there. A second young lady came over, took my receipt and coupon and walked into the back claiming that the coupon was not theirs. My response was that she was welcome to look it up on their website and verify it. I watched her hand the paperwork off to a third person, a woman that was much older and appeared to be in charge.
Instead of following through with my issue, the cashier continued to wait on customers, the second young lady began sweeping the floors and the older woman was flitting around in the back, obviously doing everything but addressing my issue. To this point, no one apologized for the inconvenience or the issue and all parties basically just left me standing next to the register and ignored me.
After standing there for another ten minutes, I stepped forward into the register line and told the first young lady (cashier) to just forget about the mistake in ringing up my order and give me my order and that I was late for an appointment and could wait no longer. She turned and walked over to the ovens to get my order and came back empty handed. She now, after all this nonsense, told me that my pizza was not even in the oven yet and would not be ready for at least another 40 minutes, even though I had order over an hour and 1/2 ago.
At that point, completely outraged, I handed her back my credit card and requested a refund. This, of course, caused more nonsense and the involvement of three other employees and resulted in the wait of another 5 minutes after which I was handed back my credit card and informed that the "credit" for my order may take several days to appear back in my Bank account and that if that was the case, that it would be my Bank's fault and not theirs. I explained that I did not order the pizza from my Bank and that when they ran my card through, it went into Brooklyn Pizza's account immediately and they didn't have to wait a couple of days to be paid for my pizza. The manager and cashier just shrugged and handed my back my credit card and a receipt for the credit. No once did any employee of Brooklyn Pizza apologize for the mistake and inconvenience, not once did any of them attempt to comp me for my next order. In fact the never even returned my coupon.
Every employee at Brooklyn Pizza needs to attend a class in Customer Service and Customer satisfaction, both of which are concepts that seem to elude them. To the owners of Brooklyn Pizza: BROOKLYN PIZZA YOU AND EACH OF YOUR EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. I will never order another pizza form Brooklyn Pizza and I hope everyone that reads this post boycotts you as well.
