Our family went to Yuki's last night and had an absolutely amazing time. The food and service were phenomenal. We could not choose our favorite dish - they were all out of this world. The service was also excellent - we have not experienced better service anywhere else. Yuki's is by far the best Asian restaurant in Tucson. Giving Yuki's a 5 out of 5 stars, and a two thumbs up is an understatement. If you haven't been to Yuki's, you have not experienced the best the food business has to offer.
Great hamburgers... way beyond fast food. Quick and courteous service as well.
Best breakfast spot. Nothing fancy but it's good. Chorizo and eggs.
Always a delight. Wished they served at the bar though.
Excellent sushi - wonderful service!!
Highly recommended!
One of the best pizza places I've eaten. Thin crispy crust baked in a wood fired oven topped with homemade mozzarella cheese. Calzones were also an excellent choice. Will eat here again.
I'm the non beer drinker in our group and if a brew pub can keep me as happy as the rest of the bunch, it's a great place.
Their version of the mojito is excellent- plenty of fresh muddled mint and a slice of orange, quite strong and not too sweet but intensely flavored.
Another plus- their beer battered fish and chips arrives at the table hot and crisp and the wait staff cheerfully substituted sweet potato fries for the usual ones.
I LOVE BUCK & LIL'S WHOEVER SAID PORTION SIZE IS SMALL I THINK U NEED GLASSES.. DELICIOUS SMOKED PORK AND FINGER LICKING COLE SLAW!
Great food- I sometimes eat there 2-3 times a week! Their daily soup is usually excellent and the ever-present french onion is the best in town. For late night eats, this is a far better pick than a gross chain like Applebee's or TGIFriday's.
Great food, great service & great coffee. Breakfeast and lunch is reasonably price.
At the sign of the Big Bottle they have the finest unpretentious music venue in town. Great musicians (mostly local, but some blues stars also turn up), a well-used dance floor, pool tables, no pseudos, no pressure to drink. They also put on rockin' benefit performances when the need arises; does that make 'em Boondocks saints?
Some of the best and most reasonabley priced italian food we have ever had. We love it and go as frequently as we can. Everything we 've tried, we loved! Best meatballs in Tucson. The Seafood Soup is phenomenal; the broth is to die for. So pleased to have Guiseppe's as our go-to place! We wish him much success and tell everyone we can about the place.
Great food ,drinks and staff. The live music provided by The Equinox and Eq on Thursday and saturday will keep you coming back to this location over and over again
TBG is one of those people who orders the same thing whenever he's trying a new restaurant. In the case of mexican food, it's always beef tacos in crispy corn tortillas. Along with the world's largest quesadilla and a Sonoran hot dog to die for, today's lunch at Lupita's included "the very best..... by miles...." beef tacos in Tucson.
My husband and I dine out frequently. We are extremely particular in our expectations and this restaurant far exceeds them. We often find ourselves dining here on a couple nights throughout our week. We also LOVE their italian breakfasts & lunch dishes! Cafe Torino is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant with an intimate feel. The owner is "hands on" and frequently visits with her guests when not in the kitchen. The food is absolutely exceptional. The pasta is all homemade, each morning ,and the menu offers many northern italian authentic selections as well as rotating specials. I have impressed many by bringing them to this little gem. For breakfast, lunch or dinner...it is one to not miss!
We have eaten here 18-20 times; for lunch 25% of the time and dinner 75% of the time. The food is consistently good, and the service has been very good as well. The sushi is fresh and the vegetables crunchy and tasty, especially the cucumbers. I've had the grilled salmon and the chicken teriyaki as well, and the hot foods are pretty close to as good as the sushi. Plum ice cream for dessert seems to be standard without asking. The iced green tea is refreshing as well. A definite favorite of ours.
I live in Chicago and was visiting friends in Tucson. We decided to try Bubby's to see how it measured up. I had the Chicago dog and my husband had a burger. We both thought the food was great. We thought we were back in Chitown for a moment until we looked out and everything was beige. We actually went back again before we left Tucson!
I may only be 24 and from Kansas, but this place has the best Hot Wings and Sandwiches I have ever had. They know how to make good food here, and will gladly provide without raiding your wallet. I haven't met a sandwich here that wasn't toothsome, certainly don't hesitate to venture away from the top ten. The Chicken Caccitore, Eggplant Parm, and Philly Phanatic are all worthy of your attention, if you order the Italian make it a grinder.
Be prepared to be nice to the servers, generally there's only one on staff (in addition to one of the owners), so they can get overworked if there's a sudden rush.
The food is terrific, the decor is fun, and the service is friendly. Try the hand-cut fries. I overheard a little girl say to her mom, "these fries are better than McDonald's". They are that good!!
Re: “Lee Lee Oriental Supermarket”
I love this store; the prices are great and the selection amazing. It's also a very pleasant place, very clean with wide aisles and good lighting. Despite the name, it's not limited to Asian/South Asian goods; they have African, Mexican, and other kinds of foods. There's a section of cookware and the like, too, with everything from chopstick holders to gigantic stockpots.
