Re: “La Fuente

There are alot of not so good mexican restaurants in Tucson but this place is especially bad. How bad? It's even worse than El Molinito.

Re: “Club 21

I have been going to Club 21 since the 60's and this is my family's favorite for Mexican food. It is always consistant and my husband likes the carne seca best there. They serve 2 different salsas with the chips and the cheese crisp can't be beat. My fav is the sour cream enchiladas.

Re: “La Fuente

I have to be honest people. We were highly disappointed with our meals. I suppose we should have known it was going to be iffy because of the so-called buy one get one free coupons they offer. Their standard menu prices are over inflated so your silly coupon turns out to not be a deal at all. Moreover, they automatically add a tip to your bill. I can understand that some place add a gratuity when there is a large party but it was only the two of us. Ridiculous! Folks, the food here is sub par. Even Nico's Taco Shop blows it away and that's not saying a whole lot now is it? Big hideous pink building on the dead part of Oracle Rd. Chalk it up as a learning experience.

Re: “Little Café Poca Cosa

I and my aspiring-chef son love this place. The food is awesome, the drinks are awesome. Lots and lots of flavor. Yeah the service is fast and you may be lucky enough to get a big hug or a kiss on the mouth....what's wrong with that?!

Re: “Macayo's

The food here is not as good as La Parrilla Suiza, but is good and has a yummy dessert menu. The service is 9/10 times very good.

Re: “La Placita Café

the best mexican food i've had in a long time! I was walking my dog and stoped in toask what time they closed., at 730pm noone was there when we went back at 815pm the place was full, they close at 900pm. not only were we treated good but also when I stated 'wow, you got busy.' most busineses in tucson would answer,'yea, we thought we were going home early!' La Placita says'WE are so glad , anytime we can be busy.' Leaving us to relax and enjoy our meal, never feeling rushed. Carne seca, original, lite aierey lotsof food. Most relaxed comfortabe meal i've had in years Terri Price 'bobs speedway barber'I will tell all my customers

Re: “Little Café Poca Cosa

THE WORST SERVICE IN TUCSON, AZ. THE OWNER LIKES TO KISS PEOPLE ON THE MOUTH. YUMMY, MONO FOR EVERYONE :) THE FOOD IS TOSSED IN YOUR LAP, AND GENERALLY YOUR MONEY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN WHETHER OR NOT YOU ENJOYED YOUR FOOD. WASTE OF $$$$$

Re: “Birría Guadalajara

Tasty and affordable, but never ask them to make something that is not strictly on the menu, like put potatoes into a breakfast burrito. They give you nasty looks and cook it the way they want to, i.e. potatoes were served on the side.

Re: “La Fresita

Consistent, tasty and affordable. I eat there almost every week.
