Re: “Ha Long Bay

Pho soup is the best in town. Ordering to go you get the full size also. What a bargain!

It's just water and roots isn't it?

Re: “Ha Long Bay

Excellent phos and other Vietnamese foods. Fast and friendly service as well. I always try to eat at Halong Bay whenever in Tucson.

Re: “Saigon Pho

This restaurant has the best vegetarian Vietnamese selection in Tucson--very extensive. Prices range from more expensive than I would expect to very cheap. Luckily their excellent baguette sandwiches are only $4.50 and are delicious.

Re: “Pho 88

The best pho in town that I've had and we're always treated well. The other dishes that I've tried were also good, which were mostly more Chinese style dishes that tend to work well for our kids.

Re: “Miss Saigon

Had dinner at their Ina and I-10 location last night. We started off with some spring rolls which were stuffed with about 99% shredded lettuce despite being advertised as coming with shrimp and pork. Rather disappointing but not the end of the word. Our main courses were really good tasting. We both elected to order curry-based dishes. Yum! My only grip was that my dish said it came with prawns. Prawns? Come on! More like medium sized shrimp guys.

I see that a previous commenter mentioned he liked the services at the Campbell location better. In my view the their Ina location restaurant has always been a bit better. Not a huge difference though. May just be the luck of the draw that day. Service wise, neither place is bad. But no doubt the Ina restaurant has better ambiance, plus it's right off the freeway.

Re: “Ha Long Bay

Consistently great food. Be it the Pho or any of the other choices from the menu. Have not found anywhere else which comes close in Tucson.

Re: “Ha Long Bay

Very good place. Reminds me of Vietnamese restaurants in Orange County (Little Saigon).

Re: “Pho 88

I've been going to Pho 88 for years. The woman who owns the place is always friendly and happy to see you.

The Pho is delicious. Very. The Vietnamese meat loaf is the best I've had in town. The broken jasmine rice plates are over the top.

My recommendation: Go more than once so you can try everything!

Re: “Ha Long Bay

Arguably the best Vietnamese restaurant in Tucson. The flavors are spot on! The service is fast and freindly. Best of all, you don't have to put up with the crowded noisy college atmosphere of Miss Saigon on a Friday night (or any other night for that matter).

Re: “Miss Saigon

Definitely not the best Vietnamese we've had, but not bad either. The Pho is pretty good and is very filling. A few of the other dishes are kinda greasy though. All in all, this is a decent place to go when you're burnt out on say Mexican food. We have been to both of their locations. The service and some food items are slightly better at the Campbell location, however, their Ina location restaurant is nicer looking inside. Overall, Miss Saigon ekes out 3 stars. That's being a little liberal though. It's unfortunately that Tucson lacks a variety of really good places to dine.

Re: “Ha Long Bay

Love it, love it, love it! Favorite place since 3 Sisters closed--the tastes are as good or better and the service is way better & faster. Crispy spring rolls, lemongrass chicken or beef & rice noodles, lots of mint & cilantro...wonderful!
