My favorite restaurant in Tucson! Every dish I've had there has been amazing. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options too!
The menu items are really good. I wouldn't recommend the buffet though.
Great Sushi for the price. Other hot Chinese dishes are very good as well. China A super Buffet on River road and Stone Road also deserves 5 stars. The new U Like Buffet on Wilmont just south of Broadway is just terrible thou.
Service and food is great. They go out of their way to prepare what you like if you don't see it on the steam tables. Going beyond the mundane Chinese dishes is where they shine. The oysters, escargot, variety of soups, sushi all are superbly prepared.
We have never found the food to be cold and certainly irt is full of flavor.
We go to their other restaurant in Green Valley-Sahuarita "Panda House Restaurant".
Sean, Tim, TuiLynn, Emma and all the staff are courteous and can explain everything fully if you qwant to know. We have been there a coulpe of dozen times and never disappointed.
We are from San Franciso and enjoy Chinese Food to its fullest.
P.S. We like it!
Best Hot and Sour soup ever!!! mmmmm...rich and very flavorful!
Bar far the best Mongolian Grill I have been too (I travel a lot). They serve the correct noodles for a mongolian bbq (some restaurants serve spaghetti noodles), veggies are fresh, good choice of meat, bowl size is perfect, sauce selection is great, and the customer service and cleanliness of the restaurant is a plus.
Affordable elegance, reasonable prices, outstanding unobtrusive service, high-quality lovingly prepared food, SPOTLESS demonstration kitchen, warm hospitality. ALL of these factors add up to warrant a visit to Harvest Moon Chinese Cuisine in Oro Valley. Please put this restaurant on your "Must Visit" list. You won't be dissapointed, I assure you. Please note: Harvest Moon is moving to "The Marketplace" very near their current location. The target date is end of May, to the first week in June. This is one of those great places that, as you're getting into your car after a wonderful meal you'll already be thinking about "Next time, I'd like to try the...."
Love this Restaurant! Defienently my favorite place to go!
5 stars for food quality, portion, freshness, presentation, flavor, value and service.
Yum! When Filling the bowl make sure and leave enough room for the meat at the end of the bar... or better yet start with the meat - compact it as much as you can then heap the bowl with veggies before going to the seasonings. This really cooks down so don't be shy.
Hands down, the best, most friendly and flavorful Chinese cookery to be found in the greater Tucson area. Mary, the proprietor is a jack of all trades and Master of ALL. She handles front of house, waitstafffing and can throw down a mean fried rice too! Most of the other Chinese eateries offer dumbed down, bland food. Not so at Dragon village. Instead, you can smell the amazing aromas of sesame, hoisin and hot chillies from a block away. The tell tale sign of proper chinese cookery is how they do with won-ton soup. DV's soup is seasoned correctly and the wontons are light and succulent...not the weapons-grade taffy-goo found at other Tucson restaurants.
mary and the Dragon Village team do it right!
Re: “Ba-Dar Chinese Restaurant”
Best in Tucson and perhaps Arizona. Prices are good, portions are large and the food is excellent.
