I have personally been going to this amazing place for the past couple years. My family and friends use Sushi Ten for celebrations or just a night out. This is the only place i have ever been to let alone just in Tucson that has a half off happy our of such a variety of things for such a long period of time.
I am extremely dissapointed with the tucson weekly voting this the best sushi in tucson. Fake Ahi tuna?? thats right its just whitefish died red. I cant stand cheep sushi no matter how "cool" the inside looks. Do yourself a favor and eat pretty much anywhere else but there.
You know, I really want to like this place. The new location on Broadway is nicely appointed and pretty comfortable. The food is decent for sushi in Tucson, and especially during their happy hour, the prices are reasonable.
But on both our last two visits, a few months apart, there have been significant mistakes, long delays, lost tickets, items we didn't receive but were billed for. The wait staff has always straightened it out, but it's dinner at a restaurant, you know, there shouldn't have to be a reconciliation process.
I hope Sushi Garden gets its act in gear, but that hope is fading.
Best dim sum in town. Not $ as advertised. More like $$-$$$. But here, you get more than you pay for.
I've been to Japan 68 times on business and rate Kampai food as good as anything I have had in Japan...the service is excellent and the prices very reasonable....I eat there at least once every week....
We loved the Speedway location; however, the same food we normally order- sesami chicken and Sushi was not even edible and portions small.
David, did you loose your cooks or what, we will never return. After 8 years of twice a week patronage we are deeply disappointed

"kimono-clad waitresses"???? who wrote that? It's dead wrong. Nonetheless, the food is great! Amazing portions, delicious, huge variety. I only wish they didn't close from 2:30 to 5:00. the wait staff is typically college students.
I go here all the time, the half sushi roll everyday can't be beat. My family is also a fan of the lunch box menu. The service staff seems to change a lot, but I can't say I've ever had bad service.
We've been here five times now, and keep coming back. The atmosphere is Japanese Modern chic, with lots of black and red. The service is excellent and the sushi is too! It's fast becoming our sole sushi restaurant.
The sushi here is good, BUT the past three times I have gone (over the course of 1+ year), has been the worst I've experienced.
This is the best sushi in town in my book. The service is always great and the servers are graceful, kind, and personable. The portions are good, the sushi is divine and fresh, the tempura, best in town. The ambiance is simple and pleasant. It's can be a bit crowded but it's worth the minor discomfort. I have always felt well nourished and pleasant by the end of the meal. You can't go wrong here.
Cheesy low budget sushi. One time I got a piece of glass in my sushi rice. The owner tried to just give me a free dessert to make up for it. I should have sued.
I quit going to this place. The owner flat out refused to give us hot towels unless we sat at the sushi bar. The service got increasingly horrible. One night the waiter seemed to be on drugs and broke down crying at our table over some misperception he had over another customer. The place is run down and dirty. The sushi was big portions but I think it was mediocre at best. I strongly suggest going elsewhere like to sushi on Oracle.
I love Ikkuyu. The service is great. I haven't been disappointed yet there. The udon bowls are yummy and piled high. The teriyaki is better than I have had in a while. The prices are great and the owner is always cheerful and helpful.
Best we have experienced in Tucson. Fresh fish, large pieces and reasonable prices. Very good atmosphere and service.
Not a lot of people know about sushi on oracle, but once you eat there, you will never go anywhere else! Their service is outstanding and their food is very fresh. The sushi chefs are super friendly when you go and sit down at the sushi bar. It's a small restaurant, but very family oriented. Everybody helps each other out. I would recommend anybody and everybody to go here!
This is a great place! I love the fast, fresh, healthy food here. I followed Lori to this location when she left her Oracle location. Friendly family owned place, I'm always greeted by name, and the food is consistently excellent. I can't say enough about it.
The food is good but a little pricey. The hostess, Cheyenne, was a real treat!
If you are dieing for Sushi, close to El Con or Thornydale and your vehicle is out of gas, it is worth stopping. Otherwise much better Sushi around town than either location.
Re: “Fusion Wasabi”
My favorite restaurant - why did it close?
