Just don't watch the servers make the salads using their hands.
Went a few weeks ago to check out 80's and Gentleman and thought it was pretty damn good! The band was tight and the atmosphere was fun. There seemd to be a mixed crowd of all ages and somewhat of a small cult following with their 80's dress theme going on. The band broke out some songs I really hadn't heard in a long time and it was apparent they have it together. As a bonus, I was able to take my drink outside with me to a burn a smoke. Can't comment on the food but the drinks seemed to come without any noticeable problems so all in all, I had a fun night and will definately go again.
The food was merely adequate, and the service was downright bizarre: we were in the middle of our appetizers when the main course was served. That's lousy kitchen management.
Food just so so but the wait staff is friendly and funny.
Beautiful atmosphere, Great food, nice wine list and realistic price, Outstanding service a great place for a special event. Almost like a Manhattan Resturant but not cramped tables, and no surly attitude. Great for a Specail event. Please do not ruin the atmosphere by bringing unruly children.
Food is not as good since Denny the cook left.
But still a bargain.
Unfriendly staff.
where else do you find live music - GOOD live music - se7en nights a week in TUS? A great neighborhood bar with friendly people. Makes me wish I didn't have a morning job.
Love the atmosphere and the food has always been great. Fabulous desserts!
The food is fast, consistent and good. As a friend from East Europe said, "It is a coffee shop just like in American movies."
Great food, great price. Also if your military they have great military discounts. It's a great place to feed the whole family on a low budget with some good food. We always seem to have better service at thier broadway location, however the other locations aren't bad either.
Great service--ginormous servings and fries to die for. Roomy atmosphere with plenty of tvs to catch your fave sporting event.
Great place there is nothing like it in Tucson but everyone knows that and it it is not big enough to hold everyone who wants to start there night off
Great sports bar and the crowd is all ages and has a great veiw you can relax and not worry about fights and even worse I have notice in other parts of the city it seems dirty with lots of mad people this place is a good time for people that like to have a drink in peace and watch a game, now if your the type of person who needs alot of drama in your night life then maybe you could stay on your side of town and go to your local dirty south tucson bar
I thought it was a fun place. Nice TVs to watch sports and fun bands - especially on Fridays. My dinner was excellent too.
Been going there for over 25 years! Our all time favorite. (Even though we don't live nearby any more, we still trek there at least once/week!!)
Mexican grill - delicious
Pies good, but banana bread better (pumpkin bread during thanksgiving - wish year round)
good, hot coffee
(If you are into liver & onions, also very good -- nice and tender)
I was excited to try The Loop Taste of Chicago when I discovered it. Wow! It met every expectation. The atmosphere is fun with lots of Chicago sports memorabilia, the menu is surprisingly versatile with something for any palate. And the food... let's start by saying this was the best pizza I have had west of Chicagoland!! Not only the pizza, but I have enjoyed everything I have tried. Whether I want to watch a game in the bar with friends, or have dinner with family, this is my favorite local spot. It is easy to find - just north on Oracle as you come into Oro Valley sharing the parking lot with the Holiday Inn Express. I highly recommend this place for everybody and every occasion!!!
A friend told me about this and said they have bands so I checked it out over the weekend. In a work the place is dull. Not horrible or anything but it's pretty dull. I guess I would go back but I am in no hurry to do so.
This place is a keeper. Need I say more?
Was hoping for a better experience. The vide isn't happening here. The food isn't really worth the prices and the sound system is sorta low budget. Wish this place were better as there isn't much else around this area.
Re: “Toni's Family Restaurant”
Toni's used to be decent, but something happened. They had a couple of good servers, but now they're gone. The last couple of times I was there, my server was too busy running outside to smoke to refill my coffee. I never did get a refill. And the food simply isn't consistent. I guess the "real" cook has to have a day off sometime. All in all, I used to really like this place, but I won't be going back anymore. Sorry, Toni. You're a nice lady, but your help needs help.
