Frank Hannon was incredible! All three openers were very good! The whole night was a night filled with really great music! The highlight of the night was when Jeff Carlson and Andy Miller got up with Frank and Jeff sang Modern Day Cowboy! Awesome!
Should have done this a while back! Club Sanctuary (hosted at Surly Wench Pub on 4th av.) Is truly unique in Tucson! A place for those who like to hear good Modern Electronic Music. Sure, there are now finally after many years of being ignored several clubs in town that play Electronic music. But Sanctuary is different than all of those... it mainly caters to the tastes of those who like the Obscure and the Dark & Gothic Heavy sides of Dance music! Music styles like E.B.M. Industrial, Synth-pop, Power-Noise, Gothic-Electro, and some old school 80's Techno are what you will hear, no top 40 radio stuff! Most of it all underground and from Europe, mostly Germany, Belgium, Sweden, U.K. etc where this music is common!! Bands such as: Wolfsheim, De/vision, Skinny Puppy, Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, SITD, And One, Front Line Assembly, Hocico, Funker Vogt, Suicide Commando, and many more are played!! Jack hammer beats and menacing vocals in most songs, so be prepared to dance aggressively and get a work-out, no fluffy slow love songs here, the most thumpy music in town! Some of the Phoenix crowd even drives down for Sanctuary night, it is that good... usually featuring Dj's Black Flagg & Plastic Disease.
Group rate on rooms at Starr Pass available until May 25. Save $75 a night on a room at this luxury resort.

Justin, a young war veteran with post-traumatic stress disorder, finds that coming back home is filled with many unforeseen challenges. As a financial crisis and inadequate post-war veteran services conspire against Justin healing his physical and emotional scars, he maintains complicated relationships with his employer and teacher, at once accepting and rejecting their help.
Great service to the public! Learn about participating in clinical research while you are there!
Beautiful art work in a sublime location. The gallery space presents Stevens' art work in one of the most beautiful settings in the Tucson valley. Stevens' art, while known by a select few in Tucson and Tubac, is truly one of the best kept secrets in our area. His vivid use of color and space reinvents our southwest landscape and people, bringing our imaginations into play. His paintings are always fresh, bringing something new to the eye each time they are viewed. One could live a lifetime with his art, never tiring of it. Victor has been underground for a number of years, not showing his art anywhere. Tucson is fortunate that this artist has opened his own studio/gallery in order to share his paintings with the public once again. It is true that to see Victor's art you must drive a little, however you get so much more in return! It is well worth the drive to visit Victor's Studio and Gallery in the Desert.
Can't wait for this event! What a great time and haven't seen a Flam Chen show in a while.
