Re: “Gary Morris: Wind Beneath My Wings

Gary Morris is one of the great tenors of our time. He was a country heartthrob in the early 80's and went on to play opposite Linda Ronstadt in La Boheme and the lead role, Jean Valjean in "Les Miserables" on Broadway. He's a versatile and highly entertaining performer with an uncanny ability to connect with the audience on an intimate level. Gary is offering 100 free tickets to Emergency First Responders who put their lives on the line to help others, so remaining tickets will sell quickly.

Re: “Magical Mystery Dinner Theater

This place is incredible! It’s a delicious 3-Course candle-lit dinner being served as part of the story line of a hilarious interactive murder mystery whodunit 3-act play. The play's set at a magic show so we got to see some magic performed and someone actually sawn in half. Volunteers from the audience are allowed to come on stage for some of the scenes. Someone even wins a prize at the end for solving the mystery. Everyone had a great time and we'd def go back again.

Highly Recommended... YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

Re: “Magical Mystery Dinner Theater

I read some of the posted reviews and became apprehensive about our forthcoming evening. Last weekend my wife and I and our best friends attended the Magical Mystery Dinner Theater -- we all had a wonderful time and a terrific evening. It is hard to believe that these other people who posted negative reviews did not have a great time. I know that we all did and when our friends from out of town come to visit us we will all be going again.

Re: “Borealis Arts

Full disclosure: I'm the gallery owner, but I wanted to say thanks to all who attended the opening Friday night. Your support of Tucson artists, and the All Soul's Procession, makes our city a joyful place to be.

Re: “Larry Armstrong and Coppermoon

Larry Armstrong and CopperMoon are the answer to the dearth of good basic country western and folk in Tucson. Armstrong's background as the son of local legend Dean Armstrong, and his years as a musician in the Bay Area, contribute to the vast range of music he covers, from Bob Wills, the Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly, Merle Haggard, and Waylon Jennings, to his own compositions which are often equal to any of the above. Cathy Armstrongs harmonies and the excellent band add to the total effect. If this is your music get yourself to Nimbus Brewery (NOT Bistro) every other Sunday night.

What makes this place great is the KJ Sean show. Sean is a born entertainer, and has his own entourage of somewhat eccentric singers who follow him around from place to place. This particular venue is his least busy, and so I would highly recommend it for a first-time singer, a bizarre and unusual song, or anyone who wants to get up to the mic on a Wednesday.
