Re: “Justice for LaVoy Rally

The rally went great. We had some excellent speakers who talked about how LaVoy should never have been murdered and what took place according to video(s) of the incident they had monitored, (several of the speakers had spoken with LaVoy's daughter the day before to see what she would like to take place and they quoted he)r. There were only a handful of opponents across the street but Roy had invited some of them to speak and after one hour (our protest lasted 4 hours), the opponents across the street left. Except for a few who actually joined us and spoke. Roy wanted Black Lives Matter but none showed up as they have similar feelings about police shootings. Overall, the protest went very well and it was peaceful as Roy had wanted.

Re: “Amber Norgaard Solo Dinner Show

Amber does a great show.....I truly hope that people understand the dedication it takes to perform for an audience so many times a week, with a smile on your face, no matter how your feeling or what you might be going through. Amber excels at this, a true inspiration to those of us who are unable to filter life accordingly . Michele LaPlante

Re: “Cribbage Club

I am interested in joining the cribbage club, but for one minor problem. I don't know how to play cribbage.
About 15 yrs ago on a layover,(I'm a flight attendant) I was shown the fundamentals of the game, and played a few games. I really enjoyed the game but that was a long time ago. I've tried to pick it back up on line, but it's not quite the same, also I think I might have ADD, but that's for another time.

So, this was scheduled as above on Sat, Jan 3. I went today, Sun, Jan 3. No one there. Must have been a misprint and the concert must have been yesterday. Too bad.

Re: “Caroling for Kids Concert 2015

This is going to be an amazing concert!

100% of everthing it takes to make this event possible, has been donated. Therefore, 100% of what we raise will be donated to the kids of Casa de los Ninos, to insure they have a very merry Christmas. Because, every child deserves a little Christmas magic.

Re: “JAWS: Juniors Active in Wheelchair Sports Practice

Our son loves this adaptive wheelchair program!!! He looks forward to Saturdays and being part of a team. His coach is kind, patient and experienced in adaptive sports. The U of A med. student volunteers are both encouraging and extremely helpful. We are beyond grateful to this program for providing our son the opportunity to strengthen his muscles, improve his wheelchair skill set and avoid many
secondary medical conditions due to consistent physical exercise. If your child is aged 5-18 utilizes a
manuel or motorized wheelchair or a walker we highly recommend this program. It's a confidence
builder for those diagnosed with Spina Bifida, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, Limb amputation, etc.
Siblings are always welcome to join in on the fun. They have sports wheelchair available to use at all
times. This program is available all year round at no cost. The kids have the opportunity to learn and
participate in various practice drills and competitions throughout the year. Practice are held in a
friendly and inclusive environment. If your goal is to help your child become strong and self-independent,
social and be part of a team this is the program for them. We highly recommend this program.
