Re: “2nd Saturdays Downtown

second Saturday's link above is devoid of any info. Disappointing to be sure. More info is available on FB than on the page.

Re: “Tucson Seniors' Lunch and Learn - Understanding Medical Marijuana

Hello all- we have discontinued this monthly meeting. Look for events coming up at MomForceAZ.org

Re: “International Wildlife Museum

I was ignorant about the mission of this "museum" so I am submitting this review because people should know how their money for admission is used -so they can make an informed choice. This museum is a tax write-off for big game hunters to go to Africa and hunt down mainly big game kills. Your money supports their trips and cost to pay for sending their kills to the taxidermist. So go if you support the killing of our wildlife for fun and profit. In the first ten years of their existence, Tucsonans referred to this place as "Dead animal museum' .

Re: “Tucson Social Singles

I have gone to HH with this group. A bunch of nice, friendly, accepting people. They have other fun things to do. I look forward to doing more things with them.

Re: “Community Drum Circle

Great fun meeting in the beautiful park right next to the tennis courts and parking lot in the shade. Bathrooms nearby. Fun group of folks. Bring a chair and water. Your drum or noise maker.
No experience necessary.
Fun to play with nice people - beginners to old hand drummers.
Stop by and pick up a noise maker and join in.

Re: “Ballroom Blast Dance Workout Class

Wow, this is great. Dance is the only kind of exercise I like but most exercise classes are just jumping around to the music. Here you get exercise and learn real dancing.

You start with the basic steps (which are an exercise in themselves) and then see how they evolve into the different dances. Yolanda is great at not only breaking the steps down but also seeing exactly which part of your body isn't quite right. She has tips about partnering, so you can further refine your dancing once you know the basics.

Designed to give you the basis and confidence to go out on the town.

Re: “Sacred Space

non phony, not sugary or sacchiriny, just real...religious ordeals always make me uncomfortable, and this felt so friendly and really open and cool...I recommend this to everyone who is searching...

Re: “2nd Saturdays Downtown

Great fun, but the sound on the main stage was way too loud to enjoy for the final performance.

Re: “Mount Lemmon SkyCenter SkyNights Program

Filled out the form that promised to contact me more than two weeks ago. Followed up with several phone calls, not returned. Any suggestions? Are they still in business?

Re: “Thai Food Community Buffet Fundraiser

This event is awesome and without peer in Tucson. The food you eat is like what your grandma would make (if you had a Thai grandma). The first time we went, I was a little nervous, as I had never been in a Buddhist temple before; but, it's been smooth sailing ever since. Recommend you wear sandals with no socks, as you must remove your shoes before entering. If you end up eating in the rear garden, you won't want socks on (it's soft sand). If you eat in the temple, you must be shoeless also. Try this once, you will hooked. Best kept 'secret' in Tucson.

Re: “PCAP: Affordable Medical Solutions for Pima County Residents

In my experience (at one time I was enrolled in PCAP). PCAP has nothing to do with paying a premium and then getting access to medical services. PCAP is not medical insurance. PCAP is more of a delayed "pay your bill" program than it is medical insurance.
