KRQQ FM 93.7

Readers Pick

Sometimes, while listening to KRQ, one can feel like it's still 1984, because, really, not much has changed in the world of pop music. The artists may have different names and wear tighter clothing (and less of it), but a pop song is a pop song, regardless of the vintage. KRQ knows this, and plays the hits the kids love, mixed in with the older hits kids still love: Recently, we heard Lady GaGa, Kelly Clarkson and Pink, along with their 1980s counterparts CeCe Peniston and Paula Abdul, all in the same hour. Tucson pop-music lovers may even be thinking of KRQ when they sing along to Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You."
