Feig's Kosher Market and Deli

Readers Pick

A Tucson institution for more than 60 years, this popular kosher deli serves authentic New York-style fare and much more. Old-world favorites, including pickled tongue, come on a choice of Feig's own baked breads. If tongue doesn't tickle your palate, corned beef (extra lean is available), pastrami and chopped liver are among the choices. Lox, gefilte fish, stuffed cabbage rolls, potato knishes and latkes, matzo ball soup and baked chicken quarters are offered in addition to more than a dozen sandwich choices. Dr. Brown's soda, whitefish salad and sweet noodle kugel help make Feig's Tucson's unique Jewish deli. Challah is available Thursdays and Fridays. Sunday mornings, you can nosh at a brunch buffet. If you're in luck, you may hear some Yiddish kibbitzing, but don't go on Saturdays; you'll find Feig's closed.
