Coco's Cafe's from Avoca NY is a mobile food truck that makes the most awesome food ever.... looking at their pictures makes me hungry www.facebook.com/cocoscafes
Yup, that in-store show sounds just about right (smiling with fond memories) TR was a hang out in the early 90s for me & a favorite to purchase unique band apparel. I had no clue they were closing.... sigh...
Thanks TR for being a geat & unique for the open music minded. May your next venture be amazing as well.
In 2006, Kolbe was unopposed until Latas announced. It wasn't until after Kolbe decided not to run that Grijalva recruited Giffords.
The thing that is laughable is people like you believing that people who are local to Tucson own World of Beer. Look above, the facts speak for themselves. ITS A CHAIN STORE so get that in your thick head.
Great shop! True antiques mixed with contemporary and vintage accessories. The shop's owner does a fantastic job of selecting and designing various items that are ready to immediately incorporate in a home. This is one store we never miss visiting when we come to Tucson.
Arrogant owner and a female bartender. If you are a disabled person expect to be harassed. Unacceptable, as well as unlawful behavior.
actually it's the only thing I read in this paper. I love the writer's take on these offenders/offenses.
Just one of those circumstances where everything got screwed up on the upload. I'll fix it.
Great short holiday read! Nerdy with a side of humor
Sigh. My brothers really looked up to Lance when he was riding (before the scandal broke loose). My stepdad was a professional cyclist and my mother rode as well. He used to train on the Northeast side of Tucson where we all grew up. I clearly remember driving in our family's suburban down Old Soliders Trail and there he was...Lance Armstrong...
My brothers screamed outside the window to him, "Lance! Lance!"" and he held up his hand and gave my brothers (at that time age 10 and 13) a peace sign gesture. They were talking about it for weeks. It is a sad thing to think about a family such as ours, investing support on a athletic figure such as Lance Armstrong. We were on his side for a long time. Now, the latest comment came from my now 29 year old brother in regards to Lance, "What a jackass." Guess that peace sign wasn't quite enough.
I always thought Armstrong was creepy. I guess I don't need to see this movie.
Classic ?? I know you're kidding. Pulitzer Tommy sucked then as he sucks today. He was an irrelevant stooge in 1999. The only thing that's changed is today he's a bigger stooge and even less irrelevant. Classic? Give me a break. I assume you had to dig into Tommy's archives because he's taking a little time off. Now, that's CLASSIC. The useless bum is on vacation 365 days a year. Maybe while he's off he'll start work on his next column. A 2 part blockbuster on girls basketball with a few jabs at the Tea Party thrown in. Maybe he'll find a little space to remind us that his kids went to charter school. What a sad, sad person.
P.S. Signed up yet, Tommy ?
And a human being died.
Seems like legalization would get both Republican and Democrat support. Republicans can cash in on the growth ( I'm sure the cigarette companies are raring to go) and the Democrats would enjoy the product. Then we could drop the medicinal fig leaf.
Massachusetts still has a lot of people who refer to a soda as "tonic", and a milkshake as a "frappe" (pronounced "frap"). A hero/hoagie/sub is somewhere (Connecticut rings a bell) called a "grinder" - don't think that was on the video. And in all the concern for the pronunciation of "bag" they completely ignored the fact that in some parts of the country that would be called a "sack".
adam hasn't lived in Tucson for ages.
No help for duh Bears.
Pack got walloped .
Obama does everything primarily for its political effect rather than its merits. Obamacare was passed as his "legacy" legislation in spite of the fact that a majority of voters did not want it and which is why the Dems lost the House in the next election in 2010. Even laws passed by a "dysfunctional" Congress are better than rule by one man, regardless of the fact that he may be President. One obviously wants to be a member of a dysfunctional Congress to help fix it.
