Happy Birthday Max! I worked the front office in the mid90s when Doug still owned it.
You would flirt w/me on the phone and said my voice was sexy! You always made my day.
You're a twisted man and I love you for it...Mmmaugh!!! <3
Career Researcher... it was going to be a randomized, triple blind study. No matter what she or anyone else might WANT the results to be, they would simply be working with data. And although I am NOT a career researcher I believe in the world of science we would all agree that Tylenol is "safe," yet Tylenol poisoning has caused more than 1,500 accidental deaths. Can Career Researcher perhaps tell me how many people in history have died from cannabis poisoning? Since there is no FDA approval for cannabis yet I will defer to the doctors, who take the oath of "first do no harm," along with the historical data to agree with any person who deems cannabis safe.
It's interesting that most of the protesters who showed up in Oracle came from upscale areas of Northwest Tucson like Oro Valley and Saddlebrooke. Most of these people's interactions with brown people is that they're the ones who maintain their landscaping and clean their homes.
Wooo, wooo brown children (infected with disease and violent criminals) are coming over the horizon to take over your faux Santa Fe neighborhoods!
So they expect me to pay $13 a month for rehashed stories from other news sources like the New York Times or the AP, with a smittering of local stories I could easily find at local TV news stations. That's not a good deal.
To the brave Career Researcher who wouldn't leave their name: you are a liar. Putting aside the fact that you aren't ethical enough to sign your name to the claims made and the overwhelming anecdotal evidence which exists, your omission of the fact that there have been dozens of studies made to date of the link between marijuana and relief of PTSD symptoms (which can be found by simply Googling: Marijuana PTSD studies) places you firmly in the prevaricator column. Go sell your lies to those still uneducated enough to believe them.
Kerri, I feel your pain and embarrassment. A classmate of mine thinks that he will win his re election for State Superintendent of PUBLIC Education. Delusions of grandeur for him and Quasi Man.
My canary just died. It refused to excrete its waste onto the Star. It HAD to let go, but didn't want to inflate the value of what showed up on the doorstep.
Hey Robin, it would be just as bad if a man/woman with skin color were to do the same thing. Running for office or not.
In the past few years, and at an increasing pace, the Star has become pretty useless. Breaking news and important information isn't posted to the site in a timely fashion, and in many cases, is never posted at all. A good deal of what is there is riddled with typos and grammar mistakes and is of no interest to me. And the mobile app...ugh. Click into it, and you get to stare at a Jim Click ad for a long time. When it finally disappears, more often than not you're treated to ilk. On Sundays, for instance, it's story after story of promotions and etc. of the fancy folk in town. Just...no. No way am I paying for more of the same. Especially when there are other ways to get the information that I actually want.
Now, if they began posting good information that's well written, I might pay for that. But for now...no.
When I first heard of this decision as well as Hart's drastic funding slash of AZPM and other recent questionable choices, I have to wonder what Hart's Strategic Plan really is.
A little dicey on education. Isn't choice grand, is not an education policy or a commitment to full funding. Plus he's ok with vouchers. I don't know why any educator would vote for a Republican in this state.
Happy birthday, Max! Don't let Milkman Dan make your cake! :-)
Happy birthday, mad genius, and I hope your van down by the river was a-rockin'.
So the Weekly, which has always been given away, will remain paywall-free? Pretty bold.
BP can't send them back immediately because that would be against the law - they're from a non-contiguous country. That said, they should be sent back as soon as they receive a hearing, as required by law. And Obama has stated that they will.
No asylum. There may be poverty and crime in their home country, but if poverty and crime were conditions of asylum, about 6 billion people would qualify.
Yeah, why have immigration laws at all? Or any laws for that matter?
He speaks like a leader.
Fraser, please, stop being subtle, ok? You've been holding back and building up a head of steam, and that's bad for your blood pressure & various arteries, including those in your brain.....deep breaths, deep breaths.....
I'm sure he didn't wast as much as media whore obama. Didn't want to go to the border to see the mess he created by not letting the border patrol send them back as soon as they got here. That would have mad a better photo than drinking beer and playing pool. At least it would have looked like he was working.
For a Jew like kwasman making mistakes off those poor children,.is soooo bad what can we spected from in omly discrimination,.like Israel agains the Palestinans,. donot vote 4 hin
