So again I ask why involve a Federally licensed firearm dealer in background checks. Simply let anyone selling a firearm run a background check, all the information is public. If background checks are the panacea it is claimed to be then the fewer impediments to everyone using it the better.

The thing that gets me is that they say their yelp account was hacked but there were crazy posts similar to those yesterday that were posted back in 2009. Samy even went so far as contacting some of the negative reviewers and asking them to remove the review because they were obviously not at their establishment. I doubt that their yelp account has been under the control of hackers since 2009. That is why I do not believe they were hacked into yesterday.

Ken Rineer is absolutely correct that a firearm without a person won't shoot someone by itself. Would he agree that a person without a firearm won't shoot someone by him/herself?

Whom would Jesus tell to f*ck off? These people need an audit. I'm extremely suspicious of the fact that the owner is the only one with the register key. Furthermore, passing off food you purchased elsewhere as your own cooking is as fraudulent as it gets. Oh, and stealing the tips intended for your servers is a crime, too. These jerks need to get what's coming to them in the form of a serious audit and investigation for money-laundering. I hope some enterprising lawyer in Scottsdale decides to represent all those fired servers for restitution and those stolen tips.

I wish it was possible to have a two-way discussion with the fearful-conspiracy theory folks. They don't seem to be able to really listen. Instead everything a "non-believer" says is believed to be further proof of the conspiracy. They won't sit still for a "let's start at the beginning" type interaction. I fully believe that if Jesus walked the earth again they would verbally stone him.

A.J., I'm still not convinced. On an earlier thread, there was someone who seemed to be well versed in labor law who said they were not doing anything illegal. If the position they were hired for says it is a straight salary position and is not tipped, then I think they are not doing anything illegal (obviously not right, but not illegal). If you saw the show, the husband entered all orders into the system. I'll bet he entered them all with his name and none of the orders had the actual order takers. In fact, they seem to use a lot of table runners from what I recall.. perhaps they don't even call their servers "servers".
