Nimbus' beer is so good that people don't mind driving all the way to its warehouse location near Alvernon Way and 44th Street. Although the individual brews get plenty of votes (their IPA, Monkeyshine and Nut Brown gathered the most), Nimbus wins on its brand name alone. Each brew is delicious, but the variety makes Nimbus the favorite local brewery. Plus, they sell six-packs in most area grocery stores and have a monkey as their mascot. If Nimbus does make the proposed move downtown as part of Rio Nuevo, there's no telling to what level the brewery's popularity will evolve.
