The Switch Comedy show has come a long way over the last year. Graham Van Bach started the show in the winter of 2012 at Mr. Heads, and it has since expanded to Flycatcher and Hotel Congress.

Local comedians can jump on stage, ditch their set lists/best punchlines, and pray that someone in the audience texts a funny topic to joke about.

If you haven't experienced this improv comedy show, here's your chance: The Switch will feature some of Tucson's local talent and special guest at 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Club Congress, 311 N. Congress St. There's no cover charge, and your participation is encouraged. Click here to RSVP on the Facebook.

Here's the latest trailer that was filmed by local filmmaker Ben Riley Lane and comedian Ryan Malchow:

Malchow has been appointed to host the new weekly open mic at O'Malley's that starts on Tuesday, July 21. Since it's an open mic, you have to arrive at 9:30 p.m. to get on stage and try some of your jokes you have been telling at parties and baby showers. The show starts at 10:30 p.m. and the bar is located on the corner North Fourth Avenue and East Eighth Street.
