This morning an ABC news affiliate KOMO helicopter in Seattle crashed at Broad Street near the Space Needle striking two vehicles below.

The Seattle Fire Department confirmed two dead in the charred wreckage. A third victim was rushed to Harborview Medical Center with critical injuries. Fuel from the vehicles caught fire shooting up huge flames and black smoke clouds only approximately 50 years away from the base of the Space Needle.

One man was seen running from a car with his sleeve on fire.

Firefighters extinguished the fire within 30 minutes and diverted traffic.
