Shooting at LAX: One TSA Agent Killed, Multiple Wounded

Posted By on Fri, Nov 1, 2013 at 1:36 PM

A man with a high-powered rifle opened fire at the Los Angeles International Airport at approximately 10 a.m. Friday morning. Authorities stated that one TSA agent was killed and several others were wounded. Apparently the shooter fired in multiple locations in Terminal 3 before gunned down by police. The gunman's condition is currently unknown.

Mythbusters hosts Grant Imahara and Tory Belleci started live tweeting when they heard gun shots:

LAPD is encouraging travelers to follow LAX twitter account for more information, but LAX is encouraging everyone to contact their airline.
