AZ Illustrated Politics: Fimbres Faces Polak

Posted By on Mon, Oct 21, 2013 at 12:00 PM

On last Friday's AZ Illustrated Politics, City Councilman Richard Fimbres faced off against his Republican challenger, Mike Polak, in a televised forum. Two two candidates agreed on very little. Among the topics: Whether Tucson is business friendly; what Broadway Boulevard should look like in the future; whether the city should require background checks on all firearm sales at gun shows on city property; whether the city is doing enough to keep Davis-Monthan Air Force Base open; and whether the modern streetcar is a good idea.
