The First Installment of Club Congress' Free Concert Marathon is Tonight

Posted By on Wed, Oct 9, 2013 at 9:00 AM

Club Congress, in tandem with Stateside Presents and, is hosting a (so far) three show concert series and everyone wins because it's absolutely free. Tonight brings the first edition of the free concert marathon, with excellent shoegaze mope-rockers Pure X. The Austin, Texas group brings the droning bliss with fellow Texans Silent Land Time Machine, who are more on the experimental side of the equation, sounding approximately like a tape-loop of hymns, played on a ghetto blaster at the bottom of a pool. The fun begins at 8pm and all you need is your I.D. proving you were born on October 9th, 1992 at the very latest.
