New Poll: Flake Tied With Carmona in US Senate Race

Posted By on Tue, Sep 11, 2012 at 12:10 PM

Public Policy Polling is out with a new survey of Arizona voters that shows the U.S. Senate race between Republican Congressman Jeff Flake and Democrat Richard Carmona is a dead heat.

The survey of 993 likely voters, taken Sept. 7-9, show that 44 percent of voters support Flake, while 43 percent support Carmona.

The survey also shows Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney with the support of 53 percent of voters, while 44 percent support President Barack Obama.

We'll have reaction and analysis later, but in the meantime, you can check out the survey here: arizonaresultsivr2.pdf.
