Kirkpatrick Launches First TV Ad

Democrat Ann Kirkpatrick, a former congresswoman and state lawmaker, is launching her first TV ad in her campaign to return to Congress in Arizona's new Congressional District 1, a sprawling district that includes Oro Valley, Marana, Flagstaff, the northern trial reservation and much of eastern rural Arizona.

Kirkpatrick is facing Republican Jonathan Paton, a former state lawmaker who is making his second run at a congressional seat. The race promises to the be the most competitive congressional race in Southern Arizona.
