Twitter Asks Presidential Debate Moderator to #AskAboutGuns

Posted by on Tue, Aug 21, 2012 at 3:40 PM

There's been an interesting Tucson-related blip on Twitter today in the wake of last week's announcement that PBS Newshour's Jim Lehrer would be moderating the first presidential debate on Oct. 3.

This is but one of many tweets posted today by organizations such as the Brady Campaign, the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, and their followers.

According to the Commission on Presidential Debates, topics are to be chosen by the moderator and announced a few weeks before the debate, so we'll see what ends up making the cut.
