Let's Listen to Some Gigamesh

Posted by on Wed, Jun 27, 2012 at 1:00 PM

Minneapolis DJ/producer Gigamesh is playing Opti Club tomorrow night, and while maybe his name doesn't immediately ring a bell, if you listen to dance music at all, you've probably heard one of his remixes, for artists like Grouplove or Foster the People. While I suspect those remixes are probably a good indicator of what his set at Congress will be like, I'm crossing my fingers for a selection of songs like he put together for the White Light Mix Series (streamable above) which includes tracks by Giorgio Moroder, Portishead and Yellow Magic Orchestra. A man can dream, but either way, if you're looking for something to do tomorrow night, the show will be only $3 and likely quite a good time.
