So, in case you haven't yet heard, Daniel Patterson has a week to respond to the House Ethics report that has him looking like a big ol' jerk. This is based on a 42-13 standing vote by the House that decided to adjourn, resisting two motions by Democrats to expel Patterson.
Rep. Chad Campbell is apparently tired of Republican House members playing partisan games, according to this tweet:
Those who have read the ethics report shouldn't be surprised that Patterson chimed in with a few choice words for both Campbell and Rep. Steve Farley. However, Rep. Katie Hobbs couldn't help but step in and defend her party-mates — schoolyard style.
All things told, this looks to be shaping up rather nicely — for people to take shots at the Legislature, of course. Makes me wonder if the Daily Show wouldn't love to head back out here for another bit.
