Lee Lee International Supermarket's Holiday Food Drive Starts Today (With Bonus Sake Photo!)

Posted by Adam Borowitz on Thu, Nov 17, 2011 at 3:01 PM

Lee Lee International Supermarket at 1990 W. Orange Grove Road is collecting donations for the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona through Tuesday, Nov. 22.

It occurs to me you might have more on your mind than donating food, so I am pasting in a picture of the sake selection at Lee Lee International Supermarket to whet your appetite for booze and entice you to drop off nonperishable goods while stopping in for a bottle. The beer selection is pretty decent, too.

Yes, Adam Borowitz, 'tis the season of food drives. Odd: as if people only eat in the fall and winter.

Couldn't agree more. 'Tis sheer foolishness to feed those in need but once or twice a year.
